You can buy from cheaper at Menards and didn't know a new special adapter is needed, won't work with traditional can tap

Be aware that it takes a special tap to actuate the self sealing can valve. I used a side can tap.

Freon is freon. (or more accurately refrigerant is refrigerant) The only thing that was a downer is these came with the new-style screw on can connector that uses a valve that doesn't pierce the can, so I ended up having to get an adapter that threads on to the piercing style valve and then on to the self-sealing can itself. to use my existing valve. Why did I not just buy a new valve you ask? Well I tried but the new valve for these cans would not thread on to my manifold set hoses. Why did I not just buy the older cans? Because they are a lot more expensive for the same refrigerant! Thank you tree huggers for stirring up the EPA to change the can yet again!

The Freon is ok but getting out of the can with a standard can tap is difficult with there self sealing valve feature built in to the can

These cans have a different shape compared to any other I have ever purchased. I cannot use my installation device to use these. When I went to return the product, I see a message that they cannot be returned due to being hazardous. So they can be shipped to me but I cannot ship them back. Makes no sense. I guess it is only dangerous to ship it one way. Beware of this fact when you place your order. Caveat epmtor.

Like the idea. Self sealing cans. Need special valve($10) to use.

This I bought as a gift for a friend. They are expensive at an auto parts store and these were inexpensive. Great value for the money and easy to use with little experience.

Just what I needed to fix my clogged toilet. A plunger can only do so much.

If your in Canada. Carefull before buying this product. I didnt know that you have to pay duties on this r134a using amazon.ca. First time I ever paid duties using amazon.ca its normally added to my amazon bill.
