Great value and great condition
I bought one of these to use as a media server because Logitech have finally shut down Mysqueezebox.com. When it arrived I did some testing and found it to be a pretty powerful and capable machine for the money. I installed Windows 11 on it (using the workaround for non compatible hardware) and it works great. Given how much it can do I thought keeping it in a cupboard as a server would be a wasted so it's in my lounge now where I also use it for some of the streaming services. F1TV for example works much better in a browser on a PC than though the Android app. The fan is quiet enough that it doesn't bother me. Overall it's a relatively quiet (but not silent) PC. There were almost no marks on the case and the whole unit is very presentable. I think it must have been deployed in an office where it sat on someone's desk for few years before being replaced. The unit is capable of displaying 4K but you must purchase a decent cable to enable this. I'm using a display port to HDMI I bought on Amazon.I'm tempted to buy another one but I've no real use for a second unit. Amazing how much power you can get for relatively little cost.

Great little retro-box with Batocera but beware the IO you get may not match the listing!!!
Overall, 4 out of 5, lovely capable, easy to maintain / upgrade little machine fit for many jobs. Missing a star because the listing and shown pictures are (somewhat) misleading. Though generally it shows something worse than what I got :)---Picked this up after a disastrous encounter trying to make a retro arcade system for a friend using RetroPie.Hoping that the experience would be far better using normal computer hardware. It certainly was! Pic attached is the one I got happily running Batocera and having none of the problems I encountered with Retropie.Stuff that was great :)- Its almost a little machine that could. It's not happy with PS2 games but anything earlier fly’s flawlessly.- Honestly a shame to waste the windows install, I'd expect this is perfectly capable of a normal windows experience, email, office, watching videos on <insert media platform here> .- Nice and compact with front intake rear exhaust fan. Fits great under a TV as an unintrusive little games console / media centre- Like New! The one I got was very well kept / restored, the outside case was pretty much mint, I did worse to it trying to get it open (more on that in a moment)- The internals are as advertised. The IO was different which made my heart sink when it arrived, fearing the worst. However, it did indeed have an i5 6thgen, 8gig of appropriate ram and a 256gb Intel SSD inside.Things to be realistic about:- Its likely no good for modern PC games (Its 7+ year old intel onboard graphics give it a break), besides it plays PS1/N64 games flawlessly.- These are restored units (from what I can tell) they aren’t old-new stock that’s never been used before. I may have got a good example.- This machine was specifically made for a corporate desk-job environment and if you dare venture into the bios, it shows... If you want to use this for something other than the windows install it comes with, and terms like UEFI and Boot Signing Key Check, are new to you this may give you headaches. (It’s all solvable though if you know what you're doing)- The internal SSD is clearly refurbed. Tbh looks like someone haphazardly slapped a Dremel polisher over the bottom. So as with all 'used' solid state drives you've no guarantee how much usage its seen and the first sign somethings wrong maybe it suddenly not starting up :/ The process to put a new SSD in is near trivial though so put a new one in if you're worried.Stuff I was annoyed at :(- The listing for what ports this has is wayyy off what I got. It has no HDMI as advertised! So beware you may need adapters (potentially complex ones as the one I got has 2x DisplayPort and I 'think' a software issue with Batocera is preventing it sending audio. Windows may not have this issue though, sorry didn't test it.)The metal case is weirdly sticker-phobic... Not the vendors fault of course but even after a good cleaning with alcohol wipes breath a bit too hard near it and any go faster stripes you've stuck on will come flying right off :/Pleasant surprises :)- It has a delightful little tinny speaker buried in it that you can actually use, it sounds terrible but is weirdly endearing when you realise it’s actually a speaker not just a bios beeper.- The ports on it, while not what’s listed are largely better than what’s advertised. I got more USB3.0 ports than the listing shows in the pictures and a USB-C port. Only 'side-grade' from what’s advertised is I got 2x DisplayPort and 1VGA connector rather than 1xHDMI and 1x VGA like shown in the listing.- The WiFi is provided by a dongle supplied connected to the usb ports. If you happen to want to use ethernet instead of WiFi, hey free dongle!Other notes if you want to do what I did to this thing:- The case does not come off intuitively... No seriously go find a video guide unless you're already a galaxy brain at opening this type of machine... I stuck a couple of nicks into the case trying to leaver the top panel off. Turned out I was just pushing the wrong way and the front plastic part comes off with the rest of the top. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯- The internal SSD is connected by a tiny bit of flimsy ribbon cable and the pull tab is useless/frankly devoid of mechanical sympathy! Suggest gently coaxing the SATA connector off at the corners a bit at a time. It looks like the ribbon is replaceable but no idea if that part is available anywhere!!! so caution is advised.- Mine is only using 1 of 2 ram slots, so it can be upgraded, potentially in speed too as with 1 ram stick its in single channel mode.- The bios is a corporate horror show, the post splash doesn't even show what key to press (its Del) and turning off all the secure boot settings makes it act like you're trying to break into fort Knox only harder. Be ready for several unnecessary reboots and nag screens. It does eventually knock it off and boots whatever you want it to like its found a new refreshing purpose in life though.4 out of 5 would have been nice if the listing was more accurate but overall made me plenty happy :)

Great product
Great product and absolutely excellent customer service. That sent out the bt and wifi dongle straight away as it wasn't included in the original. No hassle. Also very compact pc, can be used for multiple things.

Decent, clean and does the job
Worked perfectly, a little bit of bloatware to remove from windows or would recommend a fresh install. I used with Ubuntu so no issue for me. Bonus 1 nvme and m2 slots below the SSD caddy. Also, despite lacking an m2 WiFi card it did come with a free WiFi usb dongle or in my case fine on the 1gb ethernet port. Plenty of usb 3 ports and a clean unit inside and out.

Compact, affordable dual-monitor PC suitable for long-term use using Linux but not Windows.
This is a compact PC that arrived ahead of schedule and in good condition inside and out with a genuine HP power supply. Windows Pro was provided on a reused 240GB Kingston 2.5" SATA SSD rather than using the M.2 NVMe slot but one could buy & fit that oneself for more internal storage. Similarly, a 2.4GHz USB WiFi dongle was provided instead of a radio module in the other internal M.2 slot but there is provision for an external SMA antenna or internal stick-on one if required. No Bluetooth was supplied but the cost of a USB Bluetooth 5.0 dongle was refunded upon request. Four rear USB-A, two front USB-A and one front USB-C, all USB3, were complemented with 1GB/s Ethernet, VGA & DisplayPort as well as an extra DisplayPort on an HP daughterboard which could be swapped out for HP UART or HDMI daughterboards if required. It was fitted with a quad-core (non-hyperthreading) Intel Core i5 6500T using the Skylake chipset. Both SODIMM slots were populated with 4GB SODIMMs - one Hynix DDR4-2133 1066MHz and one Samsung DDR4-2400 1200MHz so operating in dual mode at 106MHz. The slots do support 16GB SODIMMS so the device is upgradable to 32GB total. With the USB radios connected the PSU draws about 22 watts from the mains and the fan sounds is unnoticable when behind my TV cabinet doors from the sofa a few feet away. The official HP maintainance manual is available online for repairs & upgrades and there is an up-to-date legacy/UEFI BIOS image available from HP as well, which installed without issues. An account had already been set up on the PC and a few apps installed so I had to do a Windows reset to factory state to clear this and reconfigure. Given the lack of a clean install, I did remove the SSD and connect it via a SATA-USB to a Linux PC to run a virus scan over it before I let it on my network.Since Windows 10 goes out of support this year I wouldn't recommend this as a networked Windows PC - the TPM is v1.2 and the graphics are also probably not supported for Windows 11. However, it will be ideal as a Linux-based mini-server for media-TV, Home Assistant or file/print/mail duties. For example, I have four USB DVB-T/T2 USB dongles attached to the rear ports handled by NextPVR (replacing a similar but now defunct setup). I'm using the front three USB ports for WiFi, Bluetooth & a compact 2.4GHz wireless keyboard/remote. Once Windows 10 is out of code, TVheadend on Ubuntu or a Kodi-frontended media PC distro will run very well on this hardware.
