Don't waste your money! Out of 5 purchased, none lasted the season. The plastic shroud did nothing to protect the fixture from dirt and water. The lamp is not a replaceable unit! What makes it even worse, is there is no anchor mechanism, like what a stake would do for a traditional up-light! All in all, poorly engineered and poor quality.

Both of the previous reviewers are correct- these lights are easy to install and work great, for a while. Then they quit working. I installed 6 of these a month ago. 4 are still working, 2 are not. Instead of the bright light originally produced, there is only a faint glow from 2 of them.I'll have to navigate through the website to the contact seller page, and find out what to do. It will mean uninstalling them, packing them up, shipping back to Silbo, and hoping they send me better ones.Update:I received prompt return email from silbo. They shipped me replacement units immediately, which are working fine so far. The other units have gone bad now, so they will be replaced.I'm upgrading from 2 to 4 stars, entirely based on excellent customer service. I still can't vouch for the long term reliability of the product. They do look very good, appear to be sturdily constructed, and are very bright when lit. I'm willing to cut the company a lot of slack due to their obvious eagerness to do right by the customer. I'll update again after a fair trial of the replacement units.Update #2- upgrading to 5 stars, based on final outcome and quality of product. Eventually all of my original purchase failed. All were replaced promptly, at no charge, including return postage so they could do autopsies on the dead units. All are working fine, after > 1 month of nightly use, including through heavy rainstorms that temporarily immersed some of the units in water.Ideally, 5 stars are reserved for items that arrive promptly, work perfectly the first time, and are durable and reasonably priced. I'm cutting them slack due to the admirable way that the company (Silbo) responded to a bad batch of product. They lose a point due to shipping bad product, gain it right back due to their stepping up and doing everything I could want them to do to remedy the situation. With customer service going to hell in so many areas of our economy, I salute this company for doing it right.I would not hesitate to buy another set of these if needed.

The lights were presented to one of my "high end" customers. He liked them because of the stainless steel appearance and waterproof feature. Within 6 weeks 4 of the lights failed. The customer demanded that all lights were to be removed and replaced with different lights. The supplier was great to work with on the return but the time/labor to remove defective lights and reinstall new lights cannot be billed to the customer. I am very dissatisfied with the performance of these lights.
