Hafele Oval Closet Rod with End Supports - 30in, Satin Nickel

This is a really nice little bae, but it is smaller than you would expect. We got it for a 25" alcove in our laundry room a bit is perfect for that application. It is nicer looking than the shorter ones available at the home centers (but costs 3x as much), but I didn't mind spending more because it really shows where we installed it (not hidden behind a closet door). I wanted something nice looking. But again, make sure you pay attention to the dimensions because it is not a big beefy rod. It certainly would hold the load we need it to in our alcove while I am pulling clothes out of the dryer though.

Nice rod but screw inserts were too large for factory holes. Be prepared to enlarge existing holes in closet with your own drill.

No cutting involved. This closet rod fit perfect where I needed it. The finish is very nice and the material is very strong and durable.

Solid product, however, the 48” bar is not actually 48”. It is a total of 47 5/8”. This should be noted on the description page. Hopefully this helps others not get into the trouble I am in now.

I bought this to make a custom clothing hanger for my laundry room. I was able to easily cut it to the correct length. I only wish it had set screws to hold the bar to the end supports so it does not pop out of the support brackets. I easily fixed this by drilling a small hole thought the back side of the bracket and rod and inserted a screw to secure it.

I renovated our closets and included several of these. They were quick to ship, easy to install and look great.
