These pens work great, highly recommend.

Great product. Came as 36 individually packaged pens, but that was alright for me. I would have preferred the boxes as shown, but may not be a big deal to you.

The ink is not really liquid and the handle is not really ergonomic. The best pens I've ever used are still Pentel energel bl107

Although cursive writing is going the way of the dinosaur I still enjoy writing a letter or card now and again. I also take notes at work on a frequent basis and am always on the lookout for a certain type of pen. For work I need something with a fine point so I can record quickly but I’ve always liked the look of script from a fountain pen. This pen attempts to bridge the gap between a fountain pen and a ball point and does a very good job. The pen is comfortable and the ball rolls smoothly but is fine enough to use for quick note taking. There are a couple of drawbacks that prevent me from giving this pen 5 stars. First, the thickness of the lines on the fine point version of this pen is equal to the thickness of a line on a medium point ball point pen. The other issue is that because the type of ink in this pen is similar or identical the ink you would see in a fountain pen, it has a tendency to smear slightly if you rub it after writing. I did some timing tests on this and it looks like you need to wait at least 30 seconds before the ink dries enough to prevent smearing. Beyond those two issues this is a solid pen that is best used when you’re writing at a leisurely pace although it will do fine in the workplace if you have good penmanship.

Like it's flowery cousin, the  Pilot G2 Fashion Collection,  this Pilot G2 pen is click retractable and has a gel grip to keep from slipping. While I have experienced problems using some pens with a fine point in the past, I don't have the same issues with these G2 pens. A nice feature not available in the Fashion Collection is the see-through case, allowing you to see how much ink is left, at least until the ink gets lower than the gel grip. These pens can be unscrewed at the gel tip and refilled with  Pilot G2 Gel Ink Refill, 2-Pack for Rolling Ball Pens, Fine Point, Black Ink (77240) Personally, I am a big fan of the  Pilot Dr. Grip Center of Gravity Retractable Ball Point Pen  and I've used them most of my life. However, if you work in an environment where pens tend to "disappear", then this less expensive alternative is a good choice and I recommend them.
