In need of a more affordable alternative to rose oil, or looking to make a refreshing facial mist. Solution: Rosewater Concentrate is made from rose oil, alcohol, and water. Rosewater is believed to be the first modern perfume, credited to the famous Persian polymath Avicenna, who discovered the process of distilling oil from rose petals. Not overwhelming and comes out of bottle in a controlled manner....
Found a ‘recipe’ to make a foot soak/bath salts using dried rose petals and wanted to use some of the beautiful coral colored petals from our garden as the roses fade this end of the season. Instructions called for 5-10 drops of rose concentrate oil to mix in with the Epsom salts, sea salts and baking soda. This essential oil worked perfectly and I have enough to make some beautiful jars of foot soak for gifts too.

A powerful skin regimen ingredient!
This item will help with my skin problems as I heard that rose water helps with hyperpigmentationand acne itself. This concentrated formula will be a great addition to my homemade anti-acne lotion. As I have been working on it for weeks and I found the perfect solution to control my acne and other skin problems.Would recommend.

Not strong scent, too hot when arrived
Bought in the summer and they might have got too hot. Didn't have a strong scent when I was making my soaps and feel like it wasn't working for the benefits you recieve when using the oil.

BEWARE
This is a review for NOW foods rosewater concentrate...this product is made from 2% rose oil, alcohol, distilled water and rose fragrances; it can be used only for cosmetic purposes, so cannot be used for baking. It states clearly on the bottle (but not on the description page) that it cannot be taken internally. If you need rosewater for baking, use the real thing made from distilled rose petals and nothing else. I am giving only a 2 rating because the scent of the concentrate is not "true" or very distinct, in addition to the fact that it is not food grade. Please note that I use a wide variety of NOW foods products and have never had any issues with this manufacturer.
