Dritz763-65 Magnetic Snap, 3/4-Inch, Nickel

I use this for a purse that I made. These snaps are strong, stronger than I needed, but they got the job done. Worth the money.

Just ok nothing spectacular

These sew-in snaps are a little pricey, but worth the money. I just made a tote bag and was looking for an easy magnetic snap. This snap has enough power to hold the tote closed. Yet it's easy to pop open.They're subtle enough to look fine against the lining of the tote. But, with a little more forethought, I could have placed them between the lining and the outside to make a totally hidden snap.I was glad I'd read the review that mentioned which side of the magnets to match, as it is a bit confusing. DO NOT try to match the plus and minus signs. The magnets won't be strong enough. The BACKS, with the writing, meet up to form the perfect closure.I was afraid the material might be too thick for my sewing machine, so I started out s-l-o-w. I needn't have worried. The sewing machine, with a normal 80/12 needle, zipped right through.I highly recommend these to anyone making or repairing a purse or tote.

I like using the Dritz magnetic snaps on totes- easy to put in without having to hand sew them. They have bendable metal prongs that you only need to bend over to keep them in place. It is recommended to apply a small piece of fusible facing to add a little extra strength/support before inserting these snaps. Just one word of caution- keep the two halves SEPARATED until they are installed. If they connect before you have them attached to fabric, they are quite difficult to pull apart.

These are magnets. There is no snap function. And the instructions state they are to be sewn in, but they are tough as heck and no needle is going to go through that material. It is designed only for machine sewing. My photo shows the only way I could secure it to my sweater. And the magnets are not that strong even.

Magnet is great very strong. The only thing i didn’t like about this product is it’s very hard to sew on as you have to hand sew through plastic. But once it’s one works great!

The media could not be loaded.  Good magnet, reasonable strong serviced it’s purpose I had no issues attaching it to an expensive handbag. I bought a second one for a cheaper tote bag as well and it works great. Happy w the purchase and the price. Also the gold makes it look nicer.

Does not stay together very well. I bought these for a cape I made my great grandson, however he could not keep the cape on because the magnets would not hold. And yes they were put together correctly.
