GlidesDance Socks Over Sneakers for Smooth Floors

I have metatarsalgia (ball of foot hurts) and can't wear leather sole shoes - so dancing was a problem in thick rubber sole shoes or boots. These converted by rubber sole boots and even sneakers into dancing shoes. They last surprisingly long - I even wear them right out in the parking lot and they have yet to shred. I have yet to have one single person notice them - they are black, my boots are dark, dance halls are dark.

These are easy to slip over your shoes and adjust so the slide is just right. The glides have enough slide to be easy on your hips and knees.

Wish they were adjustable for narrow feet with hook and loop.

Trying to get used to using it. Only tried one time and was slippery because I think I had them too far over the toe area. Someone in my Zumba class uses them regularly and raves about them.

** Update: These are my favorite dance socks. I completely prefer them over the brand Dance Socks. These will always be in my dance bag.**I have been dancing Salsa and Bachata for years. Last year, I had an ankle injury, so I had to start wearing Capezio dance sneakers instead of my regular suede soled dance shoes.My dance sneakers are great and provide the flexibility I need, but the toe area or turn spot was not enough to make spins smooth.So, I ordered the Glides. They arrived quickly, and I tried them out at my class last night. Wow! What a big difference they make! Combining them with my dance sneakers was truly the best of both worlds!My turns and spins were so much better, and they stayed in place for a class and social dancing after! It's like having my actual dance shoes back.They appear very sturdy and well made. I'll never forget them when dancing!
