Exaco 1.416Green Calypso Trellis, Green planters

We needed something for our rental and we did not want to spent a small fortune doing anything that would be overkill budget wise.This product is PERFECT! Because:- First of all, the price. When I compared tons of other products nothing was quite as nice for the price. Other products half as cute were three times more expensive- Style - it is classic style so it fits many different décor situation.-Quality - really great quality. It is sturdy, solid and so super easy to clean when needed.- Color. Perfect friendly white, not harsh cold psychedelia neon reflective white like some cheap products.- Size - it is just perfect for situation when you want to block those praying eyes or just curious neighbors. Totally enough to provide privacy for all your activities.- I loved the size of the box as it is plenty to plant a large plants that need a lot of root room to stay healthy and well watered.- Climbing trailers are awesome. We planted a climbing flowers over the few years we were in the need for this unit I went through different fast growing flowering climbing plants and they were just gorgeous.- Light! Yes, it is not heavy so one person can easily move it about without getting hernia. It is so easy that even 10 year old can easily lift it or move about to the position, of course once you fill it with the dirt to plant that changes situation and it becomes sturdy and solid. YET! even then you can move and reposition it because it has... wheels!- YES WHEELS! you can wheel it wherever you want. entirely effortless!- Lasted through hurricane :).. We were not in the direct hit of the eye but got some 60mph winds anyway and there was no damage of any kind. We anchored it with extra rope to the nearby landscape and it did the trick.Overall super happy when we needed it. I see it being perfect for anyone who lives in some kind of situation when you have curious neighbors that you want to screen yourself from. Those open patios or full out balconies etc... even decks and loggias that you want to put this and block the views of the passing by people.I have seen some restaurant using it for their outdoor patios and they looked fabulous.You can add all kinds of stuff to it including lanterns or lights and this can add panache!.We got MANY complements when we were using this set. After we moved and we did not it any longer because we had build in screened porch and full privacy we gave it to some friends who are still using it all that many years later and the item still look like the day I have purchased it.Absolutely fabulous!

It's just the right size, and a nice bright white. However, be aware it is very lighweight! I sure had problems with it flying across the lanai in fair breezes! LOL! But I have now got it set up: my intention all along was to just put potted plants in it, so, had to make holes in the plastic bottom so rain would drain out, and weighed it down with bricks. Hoping to stabilize that lattice back with hanging plants, bc it is not secured to the base. But all in all I'm happy with the item, especially for the price. It looks like I am going to purchase 3 more to give me some privacy, which it is great at doing!

I like the fact that it is maintenance-free vinyl, easy to assemble and is great for climbing vines & flowers.I just wish it were a foot taller, closer to 5 feet, but the planter is large enough to hold 3 large plants. Being on wheels is helpful too, since the plants are fairly heavy, but can move it with ease. Would recommend.

Well made. Was able to plant a growing vine in it. Would recommend.

Tried several times to use this planter and time and time again it fell. Each time it fell it destroyed the plants in it. This planter is made poorly and will not stay up on its own. I wasted many plants and flowers trying to use it and when I gave up and tried to return it I couldn’t without a box. Disappointed with product and Amazon

This comes with adapters (very similar to plastic wall anchors) into which the casters are placed. The problem is that these adapters don't go into the molded holes easily. So, to force them into the receptacles, I used a rubber mallet. Big mistake!!! The bottom of the planter where these are located is molded-too-thin plastic and minimal impact from the mallet to drive the anchors into the holes resulted in the corners breaking out almost completely. If it hadn't been for a friend's knowledge using super glue and baking powder (a process used to repair helicopter blades) to repair and seal the cracks, the planter would have become unusable & trashed. When finally repaired and assembled, the product was quite attractive and otherwise well thought out. The watering system is pretty smart.A note for the people complaining that it fills up with water: Did you not understand the very first illustration? It shows you to drill two holes in the indicated embossments in the bottom of the planter. That facilitates draining the overflow when it rains or you over water.

How easy it was to put together. Looks great, thinking about buying another one.

This item was very easy to put together (completed within 3 minutes) and light weight which is great as I cannot lift heavy items, it’s “hiding” my propane tanks at my association where I needed to disguise the tanks. Great job!

Absolutely wonderful, I have roses growing up the trellis

Actually quite impressed with this planter. It is a good size and the trellis is tall enough for my plants to hang from. The box itself could be stronger and bows out a bit when the soil is added. The trellis also doesn't have any way to keep it in the planter if you move the box by the trellis, so the design could be improved, but overall, it is serving the intended purpose for me.

I'm not really crazy about this; find it looks a little cheap.
