Perfect for a lazy weekend afternoon
NY makeup artist Morgan Walker finally has the career she’s always dreamt of, but fame and money aren’t as exciting anymore. She misses her family, Walker Island, and…Brian. With the offer of a new network show, she heads home to cultivate the ingredients for a brand new line of makeup, and discovers that her feelings for Brian are still very much alive. Science teacher slash football coach, Brian let Morgan walk away once, but vows not to let her leave again without fighting for their love. He didn’t want to be the one who held her back from success, didn’t want her to resent him.Brian was more than willing to roll up his sleeves and dig in although his role was primarily to supervise the two interns who volunteered to help with the garden, Natalie, a girl who excelled in science and could make it into any college she applied to, and Tad, a football jock. It was sweet to watch their budding romance and how it parallels Morgan and Brian’s, with some of the same issues and questions.I enjoyed my return visit to Walker Island and getting reacquainted with the Walker sisters. I liked everything about this book, especially the romance and the uber sweet ending. It's a fast read, perfect for a lazy weekend afternoon in a hammock or squeezing in while waiting in the car pool line. Enjoy!Disclaimer: I purchased this copy of No Other Love. This review is strictly my opinion, and I received no compensation.

Sweet and predictable fun!
Lucy Kevin/Bella Andre (not sure why she is using BOTH names on the cover...) delivers a very cute and sweet PG series in the Walker Island set. I started reading A Walker Island Romance Book 1 and was not interested in the mystery side of it, so I didn't continue. But the story here, of a NYC makeup artist who has found fame and fortune, only to come home to Walker Island to make her next line of makeup products, caught my eye and heart more completely. Morgan Walker wants to use all-natural products grown on Walker Island (get the connection?) and when she returns, finds herself falling back in love (if she was ever out-of-love) with Brian, her one true love/high school sweetheart. And after being on Walker Island for the summer, she finds herself in a big dilemma, just like she was when she left Walker Island the first time...should she go or should she stay???This is a very quick read, very predictable, but you still can't help but root for the Morgan and Brian to end up together. If you like happy endings and knowing there are more books coming, No Other Love is a perfect read for you!

The Walker Island Series - Enchanting Romance!
I totally fell in love with the second book in the series, “No Other Love”. This is one of the best romantic stories I’ve read and would be with me forever. Morgan Walker comes to Walker Island to develop her own line of organic makeup and cultivate on the Walker plot. Inevitably she meets her one and only love, Brian Russell, football coach and science teacher, and the one that she could never forget.A simple love story, but not short on intense chemistry and emotions, Brian and Morgan were just amazing characters. Utterly sweet, patient and just pure good human beings, these two give us a lesson in sublime romance and love as they continue to work together. Lucy did a brilliant job of etching Brian and Morgan, and reading them was a pure delight. I think Brian was just one delectable alpha male with his quite strength and immense faith in the power of love.A mesmerizing read indeed and Lucy is one fine writer par excellence! The third book in the series, “When It’s Love”, gives Rachel Walker her happily ever after. I for one can’t wait for Michael to make an honest woman out of Emily. I can see fireworks all the way.http://alimalivzletlivz.wordpress.com/2014/07/09/the-walker-island-series-enchanting-romance/

No Other Love
I totally loved the book! It was a love story and sisters either chasing their dreams of the life they wanted to live or some of them living their dream on Walker Island. The story focused on Morgan Walker, the only one who felt that her life was not to stay on the island but leave and focus on her dream of being the best make-up artist. It is a story I think you will find wonderfully enjoyable.

Good
I love the spirit of Walker Island. It’s full of life, family and love. What is a bit frustrating is Morgan’s continual reluctance to accept this knowledge. It’s Brian, Morgan’s high school sweetheart, who understands and is so incredibly sweet throughout Morgan’s time home on the island that makes this romance special.
