This is a beautiful fragrance. Complex and deep, as well as unusual. It is unisex but I think more suited to a woman in this case. It wears well and long due to it's complexity. It keeps well, because it contains only essential oils and if stored in a dark cool place will last for years. Refrigerated it would retain it's scent for decades even with the headroom of air after some use. The price is the only real downer but there are reasons for the higher value. This is a non-toxic perfume which is an absolute rarity in the fragrance world. With very little regulation of self-care products here in the US, many people do not realize that the most toxic thing in your home is likely the fragrance you spray on your body every day. Some consumers may not be concerned about this, but everyone must agree that a non-toxic alternative is preferable. In addition, the price reflects the packaging. The bottle (and for better or worse) is weighty, contains a piece of the original art of the line in the form of the colored stone at the base of the bottle and has a polarized magnet at the lid to prevent spillage during travel or jostling. I wish I could afford it, but if you can, the investment is well warranted!
