Fantastic 3 shelf console bookshelf. First, if you are hesitant to buy this sort of stuff online for fear it arrives with a corner destroyed, the shelf unit is very well packaged. The boards are inside a box inside the exterior box (see picture) surrounded by Styrofoam sheets. That's the way you do this!Assembly - super easy. Also, the boards don't weigh a ton but appear super strong and stiff, as advertised. The finish is creamy (see picture of the corner) with no visible seams at the edges from being a laminate (or whatever it is, some kind of resin material?) Lovely. Smooth finish.This quality for this price is a bargain.

Exactly what I was looking for dimension wise and the 3-tier shelving. I wanted a coffee bar tall enough for me to use everyday and then to look nice and compliment the dining room when not. It's very sturdy and should last me a good long time.The cons-The wood is synthetic and is pressed wood covered in something, which I wish the shade and texture was a bit different bk in the sun it looks dusty even though i just built it. However with the material, it should be easier to clean as it wipes easily. Also the instructions stated it was a quick install however it easily took 1.5 hours as lining the 6 holes per board with the metal frame was a lot.It is super sturdy though, so worth it for us. Still give this a 5-star review as it is a nice piece once built and will be easy to keep nice.

L bracket included. The shelves are high and very sturdy and lovely to look at. They hold a lot too.

The table took me about 45 minutes to assemble. Instructions are concise but clear. The build is sturdy and the fit is excellent — unlike some other reviewers, I had no problems lining up holes and screws. The only real negative I experienced is that the two short bolts that go in the center of each of the two X-braces at the rear of the table are accompanied by two nuts that are too tight, and no tool is included to force the bolts through the nuts. I had to go find a pair of pliers and apply considerable elbow grease to get a tight fit. By the time I succeeded, quite a bit of the black paint had stripped off the nuts. Oh well, it's in the back so I guess no one will ever notice.I'm using this in an old house with a crooked floor, but thanks to the included leveling feet there's no wobble.I like the rough-hewn look of the three shelves. They're some kind of vinyl over MDF, I guess. The wood grain is quite obviously fake if you come within a few feet but nothing too plasticky or smooth or shiny. It'll do just fine.I'm happy with the purchase. Good value.

These are great shelves. The frame is metal. The shelves are a very heavy duty pdf material. But they definitely look like wood. The shelves are waterproof so you can wipe them right off. I also have two large shelf units on each side of my fireplace from the same company. I get lots of compliments.
