Vintage guage ground wire same as 50's Gibson Guitars
Awesome replacement ground wire for Gibson guitars at 1/3 less price than boutique guitar shops. This is how Gibson guitars were strapped together as a ground acrossed the backs of the typical four pots in Les Pauls, SG's, and other vintage guitars. Most boutique shops charge 3 times the amount paid here. Highly recommended and easy to use as it is pre-tinned for soldering to guitar circuits. Love this product and so will you. You will never beat this price for repairing such! A lot of guitar circuit kits (2 volume and 2 tone) is not wired like 50's period correct / vintage style wiring. They used a ground plate with everything mounted to it and cheap hair like copper wiring for ease of wiring. Get upgraded pots with a +/-5% or above the 500K rating and use braided wire for the switch and the output and use THIS FABULOUS GROUNDING WIRE for opening up the tone on your guitar. Your Les Paul will not sound "choked" and will have a more smoother tone and sound with heavier wiring. Check it out for yourself and I think you will love this!! Use vintage caps also!!

Good tinned copper wire, but a little overpriced
This wire is nicely tinned and works very well and takes patina evenly. The problem is that it is a little overpriced here. I can't get it locally and have to order from my stained glass supplier or a craft store in another town, so ordering from amazon is convenient. It's good to buy it here in an emergency or if you are in a pinch.

This wire is a little harder to work with because it isn't as pliable, however it does make your projects more secure.I've made a few rings with this wire and it's not as easy to do as aluminum but I think in the end and it's going to hold better.
