Great to have the extra length
Recently I started to have to use a walker or a fore arm crutch to get around. Ended up getting those from Amazon as well. I'm 6'2" and most straps that come on laptop bags even when extended out are just not long enough to wear the strap across the chest. This strap along with 4-3" D-ring Carabiners lower the laptop from my elbow to my hip. It works great for me and I feel like I'm safer carrying the equipment. When the strap that comes with it isn't long enough, this is a good alternative. This is the Carabiners I got from Amazon: STURME Carabiner Clip 3“ Aluminum D-Ring Locking Durable Strong and Light Large Carabiners Clip Set for Outdoor Camping Screw Gate Lock Hooks Spring Link Improved Design Pack (Red)

Well made...love it.
Well made strap!I needed a strap for a stupidly expensive tool pouch (also very well made in USA) but didn't come with a shoulder strap...it came with two handles (go figure). Anyway, I like to carry a small tool pouch hung from my shoulder not my belt (too may embarrassing moments when my pants fell to my knees from weight) anyway digress. This belt is long enough I can have the tool pouch below my belt and out fo the way. It's also long enough that I can wear it across my should to the opposite side.Perfect for me, The padding is ok, maybe not as "grippy" as it could be but it's wide enough to have enough friction to hold it on my shoulder.Yep, I'd recommend it for tool pouches and probably good for laptop or suitcases as well.

Nice strap, comfortable and long enough for anyone
I bought this to replace the OEM strap on a Kenneth Cole bag I have. It's wider and the rubber pad keeps it from slipping on my shoulder. The pad can slide around the strap as you change the strap length. The ends swivel so the strap doesn't get twisted. Only complaint I have is I wish is was adjustable on both sides. This is a long strap, which is nice, but if I shorten it to much the metal adjustment is getting close to the shoulder pad.

I suppose that the highest praise I can give is “I’m buying a second one.”
I bought one three years ago, and it has served me well on a violin case. It’s endured some pretty rough treatment, and has taken it all with no complaint. I know it’s not the cheapest one available, but it’s proven its worth. So now that I need a strap for a tennis bag, well, I’m buying a second strap. I suppose that’s the highest praise I can give for a product.

Great pad
I put this on my 2 in. wide camera strap and it’s well padded now. Most pads are thinner and don’t do much, this one is very comfortable. The only problem I had at first was that my long hair was getting caught in the Velcro. I was able to tighten it up so it overlapped covering the exposed sections and haven’t had a problem since.

sturdy, and durable
It's solid, sturdy, and durable, so it's working great for me. The only issue I'm having is that the strap is long and I was able to adjust it to the length that fits my body (I'm 5'7", so not exactly short), however, the soft cushion part is not longer in the center, so it sits on my shoulder on the bare strap instead of the cushion part.

Wide strap, with comfort pad
I bought this to replace the not-long-enough shoulder strap on my portable oxygen tank, which had constantly slipped off my shoulder. This is long enough to use 'diagonally' and not slip. It is wide enough, and has a soft plastic pad, to be as comfortable as one might hope for such a weight (about ten pounds)

Perfect for my needs, but it STINKS
Great strap, exactly the length I needed (which was somewhat hard to find). Only downside is that both the strap and the plastic overwrap that it came in REEK of cigarette smoke. I've tried hanging it outside to air out, didn't work. Currently I have soaked it in Febreze and we'll see if that works. It literally stinks up a whole room, and when you have asthma, it's not fun to buy a product that makes you wheeze when you get within 10 feet of it.Moral: When you store goods to sell to customers, be aware of things like this.
