After 1 month it rusted. The base is not like you see in the photos. It's more straight at the back and thus if you actually swing in the chair even a little bit you'll bang against the back of the base (it should be curved like you see in the photo but it won't be)So, sadly it's rusty and poorly designed

Wrapping was extensive... took 30 minutes to free the chair from its wrapping... very easy to assemble

I wrote a review last summer when I purchased this. It looks like they have updated the description (it's not wicker rattan - it's plastic). It is also NOT RUST PROOF - it rusted within the first month (This chair is in my backyard in NYC, no ocean, river or even a tree nearby & it still rusted) The company Did send another spring and cushion, but the cushions do not fit the chair (it's a square cushion in an oval shaped seat) ALSO - the delivery company will NOT deliver past your front door (I had to open the box and carry each piece inside to my first floor backyard - the company will only deliver to your front door, they will not even carry it up 3 steps). NOW, that's the bad stuff - the chair/swing IS comfortable and I'm glad I bought it, BUT it is NOT WORTH $600. For $600, they need a cushion that fits and they can spray it with Rust-proof paint. Again, it is a nice swing, but NOT WORTH $600!
