Great clamp, but the magnet is not as strong as I would like. I have a Samsung S5 and on normal driving it is fine, but if I hit a bump, the phone pops off.

After using it for about two yrs now the clips in the back one of them has cracked. This car mount is no longer works. Low quality made in China item.

I got this and love it. In my older car the phone barely fits in the space from the vent to a bulge in the dash, but it does! I wanted this type of mounting instead of a dash mount as some states, such as Iowa, prohibit anything mounted on your dash! I now have an Iphone 5s and it works great! Am looking forward to an occasion to use it on a longer drive than in my home town! Will be the perfect location for using it for navigation. I am now back from my first trip out of town and love it. The magnet is strong enough to hold it. I love it!

I am impressed with this product. I received it free as a promotion and i like it. The only complaint i have is not the fault of the product, but my vent is not strong enough to hold my phone up. otherwise i would recommend to anyone.

Easy to attach to your vent, works vertical or horizon vent. I have yo use a light case for it will hold the phone.

Love these!! the magnets are surprisingly strong, much more than you think. I DID have one come un-stuck but I also have a S7 Edge in a heavy duty case so I just used a few drops of super glue to adhere the metal plate to the phone's case but the magnet is PLENTY strong to hold it...these are great!! They do block your vent BUT...I don't mind because when in Summer your phone gets really hot in the car especially if you have a windshield mount (Which I do) so I got one of these for the hot months and the AC blows right on to the back of my phone and keeps it cool. I turn the vent off once in awhile to avoid any condensation or it getting TOO cold but it definitely doesn't get too hot like my windshield mount can (I've had warnings on my phon before about it getting too hot when in my windshield ount, even with AC on and blowing out the window Vents so this is a nice way to keep phone cool and within reach and view for Google Maps etc. you'll Love it. I sure do. it's great and again, I ws super suprised at the magnetic strength.. yes the metal plate came off but I have a heavier phone that most and then a heavy case on top of that so I'm not faulting the device a bit...a coupld drops of superglue to the metal plate and done. works like a champ. I got mine at a discount for a fair review and as you can see from the peeps who paid full price it's a quality, well-made vent holder. The vent clips also pinch down hard so it won't go flying off onto the floor every time you turn a corner etc. A+++

I chose the grey to match my mustang! second it's very convient when having to use my gps on my mobile device. Instead of me having to hold it in my hand or lap and potentially harm myself while driving I'm able to now have an eye view of it without having to look down. Overall i have to say its a good product very convenient.
