Relatable and comfortably accepting
This book has fun, bright illustrations, the animals are very cute and fun. I love the concept of the book, it shows in a simple way how a kid can open up with their emotions, trust adults with their concerns, and offers some examples of how to release and cope with negative emotions. The idea of an invisible backpack is good. It is something that I'm sure all adults can relate to, and might open up some dialogue with the kids they read it to. Highly recommend! Thank you!

A gentle and engaging book that teaches children how to cope with difficult feelings
The Invisible Backpack is a charmingly illustrated, sweet story about Owl Pal, a boy who is struggling internally and whose behavior is misunderstood by the adults in his life. Over time (and with help), he learns to process his emotions in some very clever and concrete ways. This book will be an excellent resource for any librarians, teachers and parents who want to model empathy for their students.

Fun story about finding healing
Story is very well written and simple enough for children from different ages to understand it. This book will help children toward finding healing. The little child in me approved the attractive pictures which accompanied the story line.
