This spice grinder is a very good fine grinder for your spices

I have to have my spice already broken up pretty well before it goes in it or it doesn't do such a great job. And if your spice is moist at all, you can forget it. I should have picked up a different one.Thing is rock solid though. It's great quality, I just wish it worked better.

I bought this grinder to grind small chunks down into fine powder. The build is of good quality, but I was a bit let down by the performance. I found that you need to load the grinder with a considerable amount of substance that you wish to grind. If you don't put enough in, it won't work because the substance is below a rim that lies above the built-in mesh screen. The grinder will not grind anything below that rim, which means there's always left over substance lying on the mesh screen that hasn't been fully ground. You need to pour out the remaining granules and add it to the next batch that you want to grind. Another thing that was slightly disappointing was the powder consistency. The mesh screen isn't very fine, so small granules can slip through. The ground contents can be defined as powder, but I wouldn't call it fine powder, as the item description says. I was looking for an item to grind my substance into a flour-like consistency. This grinder can't deliver that.However, it still does save me time and I should be able to use the powder even though it's not thoroughly fine. I think this deserves three stars for good build quality and decent usefulness.

This grinder is practically unusable because it leaves tiny metal shavings in anything you grind. The shavings are not magnetic so there's no way to get them out. Even the tiniest metal shavings shouldn't be going into anyone's food. Calling this a spice grinder is dishonest because it cannot be used for food.

The groove on the top was unfinished and caused a cut. Not necessarily a safe product

Very Good & Heavy Duty enough to grind the toughest spices & seeds without tearing a durable metal screen! It would be a Fantastic improvement to have a closed flat bottom threaded to fit into grinder much like the funnel. BUT you would be able to rest it on a table & have a firmer, stable, and a much improved grip on the grinder itself. Absolutely LOVE the metal screem! I 'd love it even more if it came with a short, stiff bristled brush to clean screen, and keep screen dry. It is not good to grind any spice with a wet grinder or screen i.e. for example gringing Sea Salt with a wet screenRenders the screen useless for more than a day, because it has to be washed in water & air dryed. Overall a Very GooD Kitcfhen tool for both the professional & casual chef!

A good tool the only thing it should have been made with more blades the grinding is not as easy as I thought it would be so I would say you got work it a little bit more than I expected but the quality as in weight is heavy just for the price I should not have to go at it 3-4 times on the first amount entered in to grinder. Also a lot of the products stay caught are the outer filter part that’s the only thing I feel it needs fixing!!

The quality of this product is poor. It does not last for a reasonable amount of time. The spinner on top continually breaks, I have purchased 3 of these in a little over a year. Not pleased at all.
