U73 Natural Cotton Beekeeper Suit with Round Veil

I wanted to be able to assist my husband in beekeeping duties and this bee suit fits the ticket. I am a short, plus sized lady and chose a 3x. It's perfect for me, it's not too heavy, not too light. I like that it has the stirrups for my feet, makes me feel secure so I know that bees aren't going to be flying up my pants somehow. I've worn it on two occasions and the bees let me be (see what I did there?)

Steer clear of this beekeeping suit. The zippers on the veil are plastic and break easily. I have purchased two of these suits and both zippers had to be replaced by a professional tailor. Also I am a XL and the zipper up the front did not go low enough making it extremely difficult to get in and out of. I purchased a XXL with the hope that it would be easier to put on and take off, but even though I was swimming in the suit it remained difficult to get off even with an assistant at the apiary. I had the same tailor lengthen the front zipper. I ended up modifying both suits at a cost of $30 each. Even though this suit is comfortable and the veil has great visibility I just can't bring myself to give a better review which is a shame.

seems well made and comfortable but the veil is simply too small. i wore it one time and was stung on the cheek. would NOT reccomend

Zipper securing the vale to the suite broke the first time I used it. I would have returned it but I purchased to get ready for the bee season and did not use it until the bees arrived. This was past when I could return the item.Now I have to purchase another suite. I will try a different brand. If it wasn't for the zipper failure, I would love it.

The bee hood zipper wouldn’t go onto the suit from day one. Now it fell apart totally after just a few months. They said it was guaranteed , but I can’t get hold of them.

I got this for a bee photography assignment that had been postponed after I ordered it. When I removed it from the box, I unzipped it and the teeth started falling off from the mid-section of the suit, at the beginning of the zipper. As soon as I heard the teeth hitting the floor, I stopped but by that time i had lost at least 20 teeth and now it has a gaping hole that doesn't really help when you need to keep bees out. I hadn't even tried it on for fitting yet. The only reason why I couldn't return is because the photo assignment I needed it for passed the return window... So now I'm stuck with a suit I couldn't use. I should have bought from somewhere else. I'd take photos but at this point, it doesn't even matter. It's just sitting here in the corner, serving as a reminder of when I through $126 in the trash can.

After the first use, the zipper on this suit broke. Zipper is plastic and broke, renderign the suit useless. I am just past the return window, so stuck with a non functional item.

These suits fit as expected but be aware, the zippers are cheep. They come apart mid seam and you'll have to back the zipper pull up to reset it. It's happened on both the hood and the front zipper and I've only worn the suite twice!

I have worn the suit twice and washed it once. I like the heavy weight poly cotton, the zips crossing over at the neck and the thumb loops. I don't like the very narrow rim on the hood or the netting going all around the hat as these mean the netting is in contact with my face and presumably the back of my head/neck if I turn my head at all. It took me a long time to find out that the hood would actually come off the suit. There is alot of brown staining from the wire hat rim on the suit from washing it once. Also the wire in the rim has already broken.

Price was fantastic after looking at the cost of other suits. Worn it a few times for beekeeping and very happy

The suit kept me safe not one sting.

Good design and fit for bees no stings

Used this suit last night just to be safe while removing a large wasp nest in a difficult spot below my deck. No stings! The suit was very comfortable. Glad I got the round head net. It kept the net away from my face. We were gentle with the zippers because they were plastic and the reviews were complaining of broken zippers. It had nice features like pockets and elastics to go under the boots and around the gloved thumb to keep the suit in place. There were no areas where wasps could get into the suit. I went one size bigger and got a large to accommodate wearing multiple layers and it was a wise choice. I highly recommend this suit! Good quality for the price (not great)for something that I won't be using too much hopefully, not until the next nest removal.
