Perfect for a soup or broth
It's a fatty piece of beef with bone in it, makes nicely flavoured beef soup or broth. I usually mix it with chicken legs or wings, if not then on its own, cook with roughly cut root veggies makes just perfect and nutritious soup.

Very misleading photo!
Absolute filth. About half of the weight was taken up with fat.Nothing like the photo at all. Not marbling - thin layers of meat between thick layers of fat. It's not even "rib shaped". It's a square of, dare I say it again... mostly fat.Waste of money, disgusting. I should've returned them.

It comes vacuum packed
It holds for a good few days, it comes vacuum packed. 500g is alot less than what it looks like in the picture

very nice piece of meat
I whacked it in the air fryer while I unpacked the other groceries and it was done to perfection. Lovely looking with very little fat When rested, it was honestly one of the nicest pieces of meat that I've had in a while. This will be a definite repeat purchase.

Tasty when slow cooked.
I agree with other reviewers that there is a lot of fat on these ribs, but if cooked very slowly (4 hours at least) they are very tasty, and the fat adds to the overall flavour. I was about to reorder but noticed that from my last order (3 weeks ago), the price has hiked up by over 50% !!! Another example of the 'cost of living crisis' being used to take the proverbial....... I shall be sourcing from my local butchers in future. People aren't stupid Lidgate's.......
