good packaging, the filters weren't beat up on arrival and shipped fast.

These work great and are very sturdy. They took a little while to arrive but are an amazing value compared to what you would spend at Home Depot or similar stores. Don't be concerned about the name recognition they are just as good if not better than 3M or other named brand filters.

I'm still trying to figure it out. Why did I pay $10 each for another brand, for the last 8 years, when these, which are, from all outward appearance, virtually identical, just $5 each.? I don't know. I don't care. My furnace/AC unit doesn't care. So I'm sticking with these for $5 each, until somebody can prove to me, with actual, empirical data, that I'm missing something, okay? Case closed!

This filter is used in a seasonal home, and lasts longer between changes than any other i tried.

Seems OK, have no concerns over how well this will filter dust from air going into the furnace. It has the same exact design as the way more expensive NordicPure filters that its replacing. HOWEVER, these are way harder to install. That's because, even thought they appear to be the same exact size, the cardboard structure is way weaker on these filters. The frame bends and the paper/cardboard braces move which makes the filter get stuck when sliding into the furnace. I already can tell that these will be a MAJOR nuisance to remove when its time to replace. But, its a pain that I will deal with considering the price shipped to my house (pretty good deal for 12 pack). When these run out, I'll probably go back to the NordicPure brand as they are just slightly more expensive if I decide to go directly to the store (more expensive on Amazon).

Just had our home's 36-year old central heating/air conditioning replaced with a high-efficiency Armstrong Air system. With it came a 2-inch air filter. Huh? In the five previous homes owned, all I've known are 1-inch filters. I thought double-sized replacement filters would cost me double over the years. After some online checking, found these Glasfloss MERV 10 filters at Amazon. Wow, my per-filter cost was 50% less than that of a quasi-comparable 1-inch 3M filter at the local Lowe's. Twice the filtration and half the cost. My household CFO and her sinuses are breathing much easier. Me too.
