Nothing to see here, move along...
They won't give you the information to access the data outside of their app which would be fine if their app was worth using!I bought two of these and the only fun I've had with them is taking the battery out and wrapping them up.

Small and efficient
Small, efficient, the explanation of the protocol in the documentation is good, but the functionalities are not always made clear.

Awesome product!
Works as described. Battery life is short. Battery lasted about 2 weeks being used everyday. Wish battery side was enclosed/more protected. I use it to monitor temperature in a cooler. I would give it a 5 star if batter life was better and battery side was enclosed.

Everything works well
The .pdf instructions are located at [...]All the sensors appear to work well but, especially the temperature sensor. I calibrated it against a FLUKE 1551A Ex Stix NIST certified reference thermometer. The SensorBug's temperature sensor was only +.13F which is much better than its accuracy specification.

Good for basic temperature reading
I got tired of waiting for the Wimoto CLI001 Climate Control Sensor (which is still on pre-order on Amazon, more than a year after I first saw it's Kickstarter) so I thought I'd try this little SensorBug. It works. I'm getting maybe 20 or 30 feet range through a wall/sliding-glass-door so I can get the outside temp, which is what I wanted. However, I cannot connect to it from my upstairs bedroom, about 150 feet away, no surprise there. The not so greats: It reads about 4dF lower than several other temp sources, and I cannot find any way to calibrate it. Silly, it would be easy to accept an offset in the app, but I can live with it, I can do that arithmetic in my head. The app is very basic, just the temperature, no recording/history, and it's not an open system so I can't write my own app, and nobody else seems to have cracked it, at least for iOS. One last thing, the description lists a bunch of stuff like vibrations sensor and so on, but all I get in my app with the sensor I got is temperature. [Edit: No, that's not quite right. I also have buttons for Light and Garage. Light does give some kind of light reading. I don't get how garage would work, but I don't have a garage, so there.] I think it can also change to a beacon mode, but that is of no use to me. In conclusion, I think I'll keep waiting for Wimoto to get its act together (or someone else to come along) before I invest in 4 or 5 of these things to get temperatures all around my house.

stopped working after 5 minutes
could configure sensors on iPhone, everything worked fine. After some minutes it stopped responding, was still detected, but could not connect anymore. Also factory reset and un-pair did not help. Battery level was ok(3.2V). This one is bricked, sending back

Great product, great tech support
I am a physics teacher and bought one of these through my school, so am not a "confirmed purchaser." I was hoping to use the SensorBug to do centripetal acceleration demos and experiments. The iOS app uses a high-pass filter that always "zeroes" constant acceleration, so it wasn't working for the intended task. BlueRadio's tech support had a solution (a hex edit to the firmware to disable the high-pass filter, with complete and accurate instructions) for me in just a few hours, and now the sensor does exactly what I wanted it to. I'm a very happy customer and would definitely buy more if my needs require them.
