Slip into the impressive New Balance fuel Cell Rebel and feel The difference on your next run. These performance running shoes have innovative fuel Cell technology integrated into the forefoot for a responsive, energetic ride that propels you forward. Designed for neutral runners – those who do not overpronate or supinate - these running shoes have a bootie construction and a trace fiber upper that hugs your foot in its natural position for comfort and to provide just the right amount of support to help you beat your personal best. The double jacquard forefoot offers a breathable, comfortable fit so you stay focused on your performance, not your gear, whether you're running on the road or the treadmill. Strategic stitching and a sleek silhouette create a bold look you'll want to take from the gym to the track to the street and beyond.

Comfortable but not supportive in the way I would need
The shoes are light weight, have a nice color scheme. The size 9.5 fits me for exercise purposes (my regular shoe size is 8½-9). Overall they are comfortable and the sole is thick. The outside bottom seems very soft though, so not sure how much mileage they can take before wear will start to show.My biggest gripe (and why I only gave 3 stars) is that the mesh feels too soft to give real support. Maybe my right leg is weird but have noticed that my right heel slides to the left and feels like is it is about to fall off a cliff (read: off the bottom). I would need a shoe with mesh and a sturdier "skeleton" for support or just sturdier mesh like I have in my Reebok cross fit shoes. Or that the heel area would have been designed better to keep the foot in place. Mesh is a great invention for shoes to cut down on weight but too much of the great thing defeats the purpose.

Best running shoes I have ever had and have tried ones double the price
These are my second pair of the New Balance fuel cell rebel shoes and I can’t say enough about them! Be sure to go up 1 full size as they run small and have that sock top engineering but they are the most lightweight, springy running shoes I have ever owned, not to mention super cute-so many running shoes can’t say that! The way the sole is engineered helps me run more stable and not on the outside of my feet like I used to. Would recommend to anyone, just be sure to size up!

BEST SHOE I'VE EVER RUN IN!
I am really impressed! I ran in these, right out of the box, an easy 5 miler. I was running in Nike Zoom Fly SPs. After the first run in the Fuelcell Rebels, I threw the SPs in the closet. THIS is an EXCELLENT shoe. It feels like the SPs only more durable. I'm surprised because I'm like the princess and the pea when it comes to running shoes. I can find ANYTHING wrong with them. Not these. They are awesome. GET THEM!

Great shoe for all distances.
Had to.size up a half size. The shoe is super comfortable, bouncy, good response, great arch support and hugs the heel. I run short runs and it propels you forward and it also has plenty of comfort for long runs. It has become my go to shoe.

Light Weight, Super Comfortable Running Shoes
I love these shoes! I ordered one pair and then ordered another pair. These are some of the lightest weight running shoes I've ever owned. They are also nice and cushy. I have a somewhat wide toe box but like shoes to fit snugly around my ankles. These shoes are perfect in that regard. I'm not sure how they would hold up for someone doing mega miles but they work great for me--currently 15 to 20 miles per week. I only wear them for running.

great shoe
I've recently began jogging. I purchased these shoes and followed the advice of others to size up. I typically wear an 8 but got these in 8.5. They fit perfectly. They look nice and I like the shoe construction. It's a stretchy type of material almost like a sock instead of the standard hard outer and tongue. I have been wearing socks with them, too.

Really nice but size up
These are terrific! If you like Nike lunarlon, Zoom, or Pegasus lines then you’ll like these. Great arch and mid foot support without being bulky. The uppers are comfortable, but not as buttery as Flyknit. I deducted one star for sizing. I wear women’s 9 in sandals, 9.5 in dress shoes, and 10 in athletic shoes (my feet sweat and swell). I had to order a 10.5 in these - never been a 10.5 in my life.

Holes after three months
The shoes are nice looking and comfortable, but holes appeared on the heels of both shoes after only three months of moderate wear. Never happened to me before with New Balance shoes. Disappointed.

Really nice running shoe
Really good looking trainer, plus lovely and light- and in some ways performance enhancing. but as other reviewers mentioned they’re on the snug side. I ordered my usual trainer size but should have gone another 1/2 size up
