Let me tell you, years ago I bought a rubbish mattress from dunelm for £130. I got this topper to make it a little more luxury. When guests stay over (even for long periods) they say it’s the best night sleep they had. Years later I caved and bought one for our master bed. I love it so much. It’s firm, but soft? No idea how to explain it besides lush. Do your back a favor and add it to your cart

I haven't slept well for month and two nights on this mattress and I'm sleeping like a baby. No more hip or back pain. Marvelous.

Not cheap for a mattress topper but worth every penny. Quality is good, comfortable and hope that it will be durable for at least 2 years.

I bought this for our sofa-bed.I opted for the 8cm thick one as I wasn't convinced, from looking at the pictures, that all the "marketing fluff" in the advert was representational. And it isn't, in my opinion. The "charcoal bamboo foam" or something - they've removed that from the description now - is just cheap foam, it would seem, but I'm not an expert. It feels less firm than the gel topping, not more firm which the advert said.. The top "gel foam" layer is very pleasant though. Squidgy. Not sure this thing should be called "memory foam" but it is OK whatever it is.The mattress arrived in a much smaller box than I was expecting. It was vacuum packed, folded in half long-ways and rolled up. Opening the polythene started the expansion process but it became immediately apparent that the was going to be a massive crease down the length and initially I wondered if this was a fault as it was a bulbous ridge. Hard to describe, but imagine a hard-back book which you have opened out fully and laid paper side down on a table. The ridge is much like the book's spine in that image. So I began manipulating it with my hands, trying to massage it flat. It was a warm day and the room it's in is very warm anyway, so the mattress started fluffing up quite quickly. With massaging, pulling, and even folding backwards ACCROSS the ridge, it began to disappear. But there is still a significant crease there the next day. I see now that several people are complaining that theirs never went away and some of the pictures look terrible. Mine is not as bad as that.I actually slept on it to test it! It does feel very comfortable and improves the harshness of our sofa-bed immensely.BUT... When I bought this it was £66 which I think was a fairly reasonable price for this item. It has now gone up significantly for some reason and I would not buy it at the current price. You can get classier alternatives for that.
