This book is perfect for anyone who is into 14er’s of Colorado. Gorgeous book! Wish book cover was plain solid color for display purposes with an illustrated jacket.

The book looks nice --- it has a slightly homier feel than I was expecting and is not really a fancy coffee table book with high-end design. Unfortunately I can't comment on the content, which looks intriguing, because I have to return the darn thing. I bought this book new as a gift, and it arrived damaged. The box was fine, but nothing was keeping the book from banging around with other items in the box. The cover has been dented in two places. It wasn't cheap and this is very disappointing, because it's obviously Amazon's negligence. It will take me literally hours to return because I live in a very rural area. :(

Beautiful & interesting.

When I purchase a 'new' book - especially one that costs $45, I do not expect any damage to the book. The spine was minimally damaged. Perhaps a better option is to buy books at Barnes & Noble, where I can select an undamaged, new book. This is not the first time I received a damaged book (obviously).
