So far, so good. Restored my S2 tablet to like-new performance.
I really like my 8" Samsung S2 tablet. It's not a new tablet, but it is a very comfortable size to hold, read, it's easy to pack in and pull out of my carry-on when I travel, and it does pretty much everything I need a tablet to do. Its only failing is its getting old and the batter runs down faster than it used to. With nothing on the market that looks like a good replacement I figured installing a new battery would be a good way to get another several years use out of this very competent tablet. So, earlier this year I replaced the battery with something I found on eBay. BAD MOVE! After installing the replacement battery from eBay my S2 performed like a champ for about 2 months before I started seeing declines in battery life. Just before I ordered this replacement battery from Amazon my tablet suddenly shut down when the battery was at 30% and I loaded a YouTube video.I am hoping this battery performs better. Certainly it fit perfectly and, after a week's use, powers my tablet for well over a day under the casual use it gets while I'm stuck at home because of the pandemic. So, I'm giving it five stars. I'll come back and revise my listing if this battery starts giving me trouble anytime in the next year or two.Pros:* A perfect fit.* Comes with the tools you need (and I already have) top open the tablet and replace the battery.* Restored my tablet to like-new battery performance. (So far.)* Replacing the Samsung S2 Tablet battery is pretty straightforward. You might scratch up the back panel a bit when you remove it if you're not careful, but you're not likely to damage the glass or functioning of the tablet if you're reasonably careful.Cons:* No instructions included, but a quick search online and you'll find lots of videos that'll show you how to do this simple repair. My biggest caution to you is to be careful prying your old battery out. Always use plastic tools as a small puncture to your old battery can start a fire that will, best case, destroy your tablet and, worst case, catch other things on fire. So take your time and use the *plastic* tools that come with the battery kit to slowly pry the battery up off the adhesive that holds it into place.* The kit did not come with double-stick tape to hold the new battery in-place. I used Scotch double-stick tape. (Which works quite well in this application.)

Satisfied
This battery was shutting down my tablet at 40% after 10 months. I contacted the seller and I received a replacement within a couple weeks. Was pleased with his prompt response in honoring the 1 year warranty plus the quick shipping of the replacement. The battery is installed and, hopefully, will last longer than 10 months this time.GRRRR....... FOLLOW UPSame day as earlier review. Konked out at about 40% again as I was using it for the first time. Now to find the contact information of the owner again.

Battery good Tools useless
Battery works great and lasts a long time like a new battery should. Only problem was it came with a bag of tools (as shown in the picture) but none of them came close to getting the tablet opened. I had to use a friend’s tools to do that. Furthermore, it’s a waste to include all those as some were specifically for laptops and this is a tablet battery.

Restored life to my tablet
My Samsung Tab S-2 kept booting. I assumed it was dead, until I saw a You tube video of someone removing the battery and soldering a jumper on the battery. I then reasoned that the problem was a battery problem. I ordered the appropriate battery and installed. The tablet immediately booted up. My first inclination was to charge it to 100 per cent. Wrong. Read the instructions that come with the battery. They say to drain to 3 percent, charge to 100 percent. Repeat three times to calibrate the charger. My tablet continues to work like new. I suggest you view a video on your particular tablet for disassembly instructions. Included tools are OK. I used a pocket knife and guitar pick.

DO NOT BUY
The battery was not hard to install. However after following the directions carefully on how to charge it and then let it discharge to 5% a few times the battery will not charge to 100% and battery life is less than the one I replaced which was and old and bad battery . They send me a second battery and that one did the same thing. Goes dead after recharging in 1/2 hr. These are junk batters or very old.DO NOT BUY THIS FROM THIS SUPPLIER>

Perfect Fit
Just check and re check, then check again before ordering, that you have the correct MODEL number of your device and it is EXACTLY the same as the new one. These batteries all look similar but have very subtle differences, that will make them incompatible. The one I replaced in my Samsung tablet, fit perfectly, the back of the case took some time and alot of sweet-talking to remove without damaging. The battery run time is identical to the original, and it cured my warped screen bulge

Doesn't hold a charge
A few months after installation, it holds a charge for less than two hours of streaming . Disappointed.

This battery works with Samsung Tablet S2 (so far...)
All tools included do not really help to open the tablet back cover initially. But after I managed to pry a corner of the cover, some of them were helpful. After connecting the battery to the motherboard, closing the cover, and starting the tablet came alive with 60% charge on the battery. So far so good.
