Can this car withstand a 3 year old playing with it? He loves larger metal cars, but the model cars just fall apart with very little play.

These models have small plastic parts that can break off, and I would not recommend them for small children. They are not intended to be toys, but rather collectible models.

No. It actually come package very nicely. It was a ANNIVERSARY gift to my husband. He said he's not going to take it from its original packaging because it's a Model Car. For show only.
