iGear Slim Tough Case G2 for iPad - Built-in Screen Protector and Kickstand (iPad 2/3/4 Red)

I bought this case for an iPad that is used by children at my library. It's clumsy and heavy, but for kids, you need the protection. I don't like the way it looks, but the kids said it looks cool, so what do I know. It will do the job of protecting the iPad. The problem is the clear screen shield doesn't lie flat against the iPad screen. So, when you touch it, you have to press harder than normal to get the shield to make contact with the screen. It is not too big of a problem in the center of the screen, but is a problem at the corners. Because of this problem, I cannot get the control center to come up at all, unless I remove the case--which is difficult. For my situation, where I don't necessarily want the children messing with the control center, this is tolerable. The screen shield issue does interfere with your performance in certain games that require quick reflexes, such as Dumb Ways to Die. I would not keep this case if were for my personal iPad, but it is marginally acceptable for the children where the protection is needed.

the cover offers good protection to the ipad, but the stand is garbage, it broke easily and it cant be used any longer. the thin plastic screen protector is garbage as well, it prevents the touch screen from functioning @ 100%, therefore i cut it off and i can use just the case. i wouldn't buy this again

It's protecting the IPad, the stand works well, but it is extremely heavy to hold from all the plastic. Good deal for the money.

Such a terrible product. The cheap plastic wouldn't snap & seal over the I pad 2 and the rubber didn't fit. We bought two & both products had this issue so it wasn't a fluke. Overall, this was like a cheap toy I'd win at Chucky Cheese that would break in moments.

Amazing case. Perfect fit and protects my iPad. The red with black trim case is slick...like a Porsche. I almost got the yellow with black but the red is great. Love the ability to stand the iPad. Shipping was super-fast.
