The writer is incredible! She writes beautifully and includes so many vivid details.I will say that parts did feel rushed. The romance between the two main characters felt very rushed. I didn’t feel connected to them as characters or excited for their relationship. It also felt like that character development was a bit more rushed than the first book. All in all it was a great book, but woven in the moonlight has my heart. It was so good!

This is a solid second novel by Ibañez. In comparison to her debut this one has more action and is faster paced. Catalina, the protagonist, goes through a lot of character development. The novel expands on the world building established in her debut in a way that isn't overwhelming but adds dimension to the world. Her writing is just as superb here. I highly recommend reading Woven in Moonlight first as if you don't I think you'll be confused.

I love LOVE Isabel's work. Woven in Moonlight was an easy five star when it came out, but I didn't think Written in Starlight. But it absolutely was!! I went into it not loving Catalina's character (from WIM she was annoying to me) but finishing WIS, she's one of my new favorite characters. And let's just say I wish there was a third book for a certain character!!

I enjoyed reading this book! The setting was descriptive and interesting, and I really liked Catalina’s character arc. I’m looking forward to reading more books by this author!

I absolutely loved this book! I grew up in South America and there are so few books set there. I have been eagerly anticipating this release (and even pre-ordered it!) and it did not disappoint! Romance, action, adventure, folklore and amazing cuisine- this book has it all!!!

This was even better than the first book! The story is very new and refreshing, different than a lot of other authors. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great story that explores a different culture and its folklore.

A story of adventure and redemption, a vibrant world of magic, and a touch of romance - I was hooked, as I watched Catalina grow.

I love the first story - written in moonlight. And thus was such a great continuation of that story.
