Dated Lux Packaging; Creamy Texture; Floral Scent
The ReAgen Ideal Peptide Eye Cream by Dr. Oracle is a Korean skincare product. The ideal peptide cream inside is thick and creamy. Once you dole out some of the cream and gently apply it to the under eye area, it spreads well and becomes more lightweight. It doesn’t leave much of a residue and absorbs quickly. The ReAgen Peptide Eye Cream is what I consider expensive for $72, when I got it, for 0.67oz. It has a lovely texture and is hydrating, but it has a somewhat dated feel to me between the packaging and the added floral scent. While these eye cream jars' lux packaging is vanity-pretty, they're not practical. I get a bulky pot with 0.67oz of cream inside and a little plastic spoon to dole it out with. The tiny plastic utensils are unnecessary and terrible for the environment. These days, most of your skincare have bacteria-inhibiting preservatives. It is improbable you will see growth, spoilage, or contamination unless you neglect to wash your hands before use, which you should be doing anyway (washing). For an eye cream medium, I think the slim tubes are likely the best route. They limit the amount of exposure to air and light, which can degrade skincare quality over time. They hold the allotted amount of cream and don't require dipping your fingers into a jar or utensils. Easier to toss into a travel case, too.Fragrance shouldn't be in an eye cream, period. Whether you have sensitive skin or not, the flesh around the eyes is universally delicate and thinner. Fragrant-enhancing ingredients, natural or not, can cause burning, swelling, or a rash. While fragrances can be pleasant for a product's overall user experience, it has no place in an eye cream.Lengthy ingredient lists. I take a pause when I see an incredibly long ingredient list for any skincare, especially eye cream. Just because something has a lot of "stuff" in it does not make it better. In the same way, something that is more expensive doesn't always translate to higher quality. Ideally, eye creams shouldn't need a formula with 30 or 40 chemicals (everything is a chemical, even water). Having said that, this eye cream does have a lot of skin-suitable ceramides, shea butter, oils, and extracts. It is just an overwhelming number of chemicals in one product.I’ve not had a poor reaction to the eye cream, even though I do have sensitive, product-reactive skin. If I don’t like something, especially around the delicate area near my eyes, I will know within a day or two of use (discoloration, irritation, rosacea). In this case, I was pleased to get the hydration I expected. But I don’t like the scent or the bulky little jar. It feels like something I would get from my grandmother.

Not Cheap but Definitely Worth the Money
This eye cream is a rich, concentrated product that requires very small dabs to spread easily over and under the eye. It's highly moisturizing, non-greasy and can be used prior to applying a concealer or other eye products. The small plastic applicator stick that comes with it is an excellent way of keeping the cream free of contaminants. This is not a cheap product, but it is worth the money. Although it comes in a small bottle of only 20ml (three-quarters of an ounce), it last quite a long time making it more affordable than the sticker price would suggest. It gradually reduces the dark circles that are my primary issue without irritation or tackiness. Not everyone can or wants to pay this much for a premium cosmetic, but if you can afford it this eye cream is worth the money.

Ok for my eyes, great for my neck.
This is an eye cream. I found it a bit irritating for my eyes, it made them water pretty constantly. I have very sensitive eyes so I really was not surprised. Because the volume was enough, I tried it on my neck and it was quite effective at reducing wrinkling and adding in hydration. My neck looks a whole lot better. I ended up using the remaining cream in service to my neck. It worked well. Light scent, worked in easily.
