UGEARSGlobe - Wooden Educational Puzzle Idea Self Assembling Mechanical 3D Model DIY Brain Teaser

I am simply blown away at the engineering that goes into designing this kind of puzzle. This was fun to assemble, taking several evenings which was the point.

The media could not be loaded.  I enjoyed assembling it! Spent more time than expected, cause put some parts wrong way, almost gave up, broke one lil part. But in the end it's working and it looks great! Amazing!

So this is my first time buying a product from UGear. It is pretty amazing. The instructions are easy to follow and the parts came out clean from the wooden sheet. Every part fit like it was supposed to and the mechanics of the model worked as advertised. This is the first wooden model I have had this much success on. Normally a product like this would have problems with the wooden parts snapping or chipping. Not here. This would be a great gift for those who are interested in putting models together. I do think this is something that can be done as group, parent/child or older siblings with younger. The only reason this did not get 5 stars, is the drawing of the globe is paper, good quality of paper, however it would have been nice if the globe “drawings” were wood as well.

This is a great puzzle! The wood is thick enough to be sturdy and thick enough to be able to handle clumsy fingers. They provide a tool to assist getting the pieces punched out from the main boards with no damage to the pieces. Wax for lubricant is provided, as is sandpaper for smoothing the edges, if needed. Lots of rubber-band powered gears turn the globe and orbit the space ship. Pretty cool puzzle. Well made, good lazer, well thought out puzzle.

It was a gift to my adult son. He enjoyed the assembly process. Pieces were accurately cut and fit together nicely. I recommend this company for wooden assembly puzzles.

This is a gift for one of my daughters. It was fairly easy too assemble I have put several different ones together. Great COVID 19 time passer.

Great detail. May not be easy for a child.

This was the first wooden model kit I put together since I was a teenager, and it really brought back fond memories. It's a nifty little globe, about the size of a large softball, and the mechanics work well provided you follow the instructions and use wax and sandpaper. If you're new to building models like these, use tweezers or needle-nose pliers to remove pieces from the wooden sheets instead of your fingers.My one complaint with this design is that the paper cut-outs used to attach continents to the globe are kind of flimsy and can tear easily. Be very careful, and take your time. I lost the upper tip of South America and had to glue it in place.

Easy to , it is a music box and that is the main thing about this puzzle. It does not have a lot of moving parts and a buyer needs to read the description to be sure it is what they want. Good for a beginner.

Son piezas de bastante calidad. El puzzle es muy fácil de montar siguiendo las instrucciones, quien haya hecho legos no tendrá ningún problema ;DEl resultado final es muy bonito y entretiene mucho.Lo recomiendo para cualquier edad (excepto niños pequeños).

I found have making this model quite easy as the pieces seem to be very sturdy. The tool that comes with it is very handy for the small parts. It seems to be coming together well so far no broken bits which I'm pleased about. Will definitely buy more models.
