Questionable???
Reviews says may not be real…. I think the quality is not Nike standards but cannot say for sure if they are fakes… gave it 3 stars as hubby decided to keep…. Price was ok and hubby says they are comfortable but slight tight from top part of foot but will hopefully open up with more use

Nice
I always buy Nike Air trainers because I have wide feet and they always fit perfectly. They are always good quality and last for a very long time. However this pair are a lot tighter than the others I have bought and do hurt my feet if I wear them all day

Factory rejects?
Firstly, I like the trainers. For £65, they are decent. However, I'm not convinced of their authenticity. I've seen other reviews tar them as "fakes", and I'm not clued up enough to say whether this is true or not. I do have my concerns due to a couple of irregularities I've noticed. There is a section on the front of mine where the leather isn't flush to the trainer, it sticks out like a sore thumb to be honest. It's fine on the other foot. And the stitching/finishing near the top of the trainer is really quite poor and very inconsistent. I would hazard a guess these are rejects that didn't quite make the grade in the factory. Why not just tell us that, as that would make sense why these are a fraction of the RRP for this model. I also find them a little tight across the width of the trainer with next to no give in it at all. Even after a fair few wears I'd expect them to soften a bit and stretch, but they haven't, therefore they aren't the comfiest, yet! This may change as Ive had other Nikes that ended up the comfiest trainers ever. Anyway. If you are reading this wondering about buying them, if you are a trainer connoisseur and a sucker for attention to detail, then avoid! If, like me, you can put up with these minor details, still rock a pair of nice Nike Air Max, and save yourself 50 quid, then these are the ones.

Very on the fence with these.
Now I'm no expert in trainers, but nike is usually my go to brand for them and so over the years I have owned quite a lot of their footwear. I had payed for these first an then looked at reviews after, and seeing people claim them as being potentially counterfeit it had me worried. When they arrived I scrutinised them for quality, and they fall below what I would expect from a genuine Nike brand shoe. I found certain cuts of the materials used to be quite roughly done along with bits of foam that shouldn't be visible poking out, also places where some materials had been layered together were not done very cleanly. I also noticed some inconsistencies in fabrics used on the left shoe vs right shoe, along with a bit of fogging Inside the air bubbles and some sloppy glueing. Now all those faults should certainly be noted as a red flag, these were all noticed while very much studying the trainers looking for flaws; and to most people who are not looking for them probly will not notice them. Now the trainers overall feel reasonably well made and unlikely to just fall apart, but the overall fit of them I found to be very very tight around the foot and the first few times I wore them quite uncomfortable. After a few days of wear they have broken in just a little, and although they're still a very snug fit they're OK to wear for the day without feeling like i need to take them off at the first opportunity i get; where as previously they was so tight i did. Sizing wise I picked my regular size and they fit well from heel to toe but i found them to be very tight around the top of the foot.
