I loved the boxes! One was perfect and I would give it 5 stars. The second box had a crushed corner which also made the pretty decorative metal edging pop off. I had already thrown away all the shipping/return info so I just stuck it in a closet. These boxes were well packaged in an amazon box so I do not believe this happened during shipping.

Okay by a design flaw
The box is what was expected from an archival cardboard box with metal edges. I've owned many of these over the years as an artist and photographer. I gave this one only 3 stars because the lid is very difficult to get on; it's sized a bit small and gets stuck on the lower metal corners.
