Amazed.
I'm a commuting crew member and I love this bag. Keeps stuff cold or frozen all day with lots of storage for more stuff.

With some tweaks it could be great, but it's just not functional
The bag comes really close to being great, but barely misses the mark of being useful on just about everything. Everything on it is 1" too small to be really useful. The sun glasses case is 1" too small, so you can jam the glasses in there (a case won't fit) but having to force them into place will wear them out quickly. The cell phone case on the side is 1" too small. My Samsung doesn't even come close to fitting in the case, and quite frankly, I don't see how anything but an old Nokia would fit. I tried putting my stylus in it diagonally, but I apparently lost it on my last trip, which brings me to the pen holders. They're elastic bands, but they don't have anything supporting the bottom, so unless your pens have clips, they're gone, and if they do have clips, they get broken all the time. The most frustrating thing is that the bag doesn't have a water/coffee bottle holder or any sort of molle webbing so you can attach something to it. As any airline pilot knows, coffee is an MEL item and the first thing the FAs do whenever you get on the aircraft is give you a 1L water bottle. There is nowhere to put any of that in this kit, short of stuffing it in the cooler, which should be valuable real estate for food. There are some good qualities. The attachable laptop bag is nice and the whole apparatus fits under passenger seats, which is convenient for commuting. I keep my QRH and EFB with an Otterbox in the smaller bag; it won't really fit much else aside from maybe a few magazines or a really small laptop. The cooler is well insulated and quite a bit better than the $20 cooler I had before. I can snugly fit my DC10 headset without its case in the top compartment of the larger bag, along with some snacks in the webbing.Overall, the bag is really frustrating because it came so close to being a great bag, but it just wasn't designed by a pilot. Or maybe it was; just some weird pilot who doesn't carry around a Contigo or water bottle, who uses a Nokia, and has really really small sunglasses. The bag's primary purpose should be to allow quick and easy access to all of the items and accessories you use in the cockpit while being easy to commute with, and it just missed the mark.

broken zipper
I own one of this for sbout 1 year now and the top zipper has broken. I contacted the company customer service a few days ago via their email and so far no response. Its an expensive cooler thats why I expected to last longer or at least a better CS assistance.ubi

Not a bad deal. I've heard complaints from others about the lack of quality of the zippers on this bag, so I have yet to see how the zippers will hold up. Great little bag for food storage. I've estimated that I spend around $30 a day on food (at various airports), and this bag has already paid for itself in one week. I've given it 4/5 stars because I wish it had an additional latching mechanism for my LuggageWorks overnight bag. This insulated bag neatly slides over the handle of my LuggageWorks Stealth bag, but toting both bags around in that configuration becomes tiresome (heavy combo), because the weight needs to be distributed lower. I am anticipating reattaching the luggage hook that comes standard with the LuggageWorks bags, in an effort to haul the Aerocoast bag around without the struggle of sliding it over the handle. I'm a big fan of the various pouches and pockets on this Aerocoast bag, and I've found that I've enough room for my iPad and other items in the laptop case.So far, I've found the Aerocoast bag to be a good value, and most freezer packs can be purchased at a relatively low price. I can keep my items cool for up to two days in the insulated portion of this bag before I need to re-freeze the ice-packs (MaxCold brand).
