The crotch of the swim bottoms are so skinny. There is minimal coverage there and across the buttocks. It is like a thong! Photos compare to another swim suit the same size. ( this is a size 10!)

So disappointed in this one! I’ve ordered 9 Kanu suits total between last year & this year so far. The girls have loved their Kanu bathing suits. So much so that I didn’t even look at the reviews as all of the ones we ordered have been excellent.....except this one. We ordered the Blue chevron & the colors are beautiful. Actually the colors on every Kanu suit has been gorgeous & the material has held up wonderfully. The problem on this suit is the crouch is so narrow that it would be embarrassing for any young girl or toddler to wear. I compared the bottoms to the other Kanu suits I’ve ordered. The crouch on these are 1.5” narrower than the other bottoms. Frankly it might cover half of their girly parts & expose the rest. Not acceptable at all. Honestly, if I had read the reviews, I might have ignored them as our experience with Kanu suits has been wonderful. But I can confirm the bottoms on this suit are not made like the bottoms on the other suits we’ve ordered. Not sure if this batch was made somewhere else or low quality checks, but what a shame to ruin a great suit.

This is a very cute suit, pretty color and and it seemed pretty well made, possibly a bit thinner than I was anticipating.It just ran so much smaller than I expected. I ordered a girls size 14, but this seems more sized for an eight year old. Not only is it about an inch narrower across, it's much shorter. The bottoms are also narrower both around the hip and the private area. I bought this for a child who normally wears a size 12 but since swimsuits run small I ordered up and it was still way too tight.I'm including a picture of this suit compared to a department store size 14, to show how much shorter and narrow where it is.

I bought my girls matching swimsuits in this adorable blue/pink pattern. I absolutely adore the fabric the suits are made with. However, they doing fit them super well. We tried them on before swimming, and they seemed OK. Once they got to swimming, I realized the fit was definitely off. My nearly 4-year-old has some 3T bathing suits leftover from last year that still fit well. I bought a 4T for her, expecting it to fit all summer. Instead, I’ll be surprised if we get a few more weeks out of it. The bottom, in particular, seems pretty tiny.My other daughter got a 14, but it seems to fit more like a 10/12. The top rides up so much around her ribs that it looks more like a bikini than a tankini.Overall, the quality of the fabric and the design seem great. But I would definitely plan to size up at least one size, if not more.

I have a very petite granddaughter who is tall and thin. I am so happy I read the reviews for this, and ordered a 4T. It fits perfect. I suggest ordering 1 size up for length. Since my granddaughter is slim and rated at 10% of normal, I'm not sure how the width will fit for others. It is a little large around for her so if your child is 50 or 60% of normal it would still be good. Anyway, the product is well made and lovely fabric. We love it!

The suit looks cute and the top fits fine but the bottoms are not cut correctly. The crotch is very narrowly cut with only 1 1/4" of fabric. My daughter is slim but regardless there is not enough fabric to cover the private area if seated cross legged at the beach. Privates would be exposed.

I thought the fit was a bit small. While my daughter is tall, the gap between the top and bottom was about 8 in, the top barely came to her bottom ribs. Based on the photo I was expecting a gap of an inch or two. The major problem I have with this suit is that the crotch fabric is only about 1 in wide in the photo the crotch looks about the same width as the hip bands but in reality its about half the width. Not ok for my 8yr old. I would have returned it if we didn't need a suit immediately.

I've bought the Kanu Surf boys swim trunks and liked the design and fit so thankfully they have free returns so I felt comfortable trying their girls suits. I like them to last at least 2 summers if I can manage so I started with a 2T for a 1-year-old and a 4T for a 3-year-old. The 2T fit well on the baby, I could also go 3T and have it be a little baggy for one summer though it might stretch out with wear. The 4T was a bit tight on top for an average-sized 3-year-old, the 5T fit more comfortably.Cute suits and lots of different designs to choose from, paired with their white rashguard for the beach and we're all set for summer!

Llego en el tiempo estipulado. Buen material para la alberta y mar. Respecto a la medida no quede conforme ya qcen otras marcas solicite talla 3T y quedaba como se esperaba y esta marca traje de baño quedo un poco mas chica colo si fuera 3T

Muy lindo y de muy buena calidad pero los tirantes vienen muy ajustados

El tamaño es muy reducido y no de muy buena calidad, al poco tiempo de uso le salen bolitas como de la tela corriente. Hay otra marcas de igual precio con mejor calidad

Fue de medida perfecta, solo en calzoncito se le caía un poco pero nada que afectara
