The flag is not quite what is described. Not really separate strips of wood. One piece of plywood cut into strips so they fit together so closely you can’t tell it was cut. The ends of the pieces are not painted so it just looks unfinished. It could have been very nice but they cut quite a few corners.

Very well made, a nice heavy cord hang it by. The white strips just a tad too stark white and would look better in an a softer shade but I'm going to antique myself to give it a richer color.

I expected a more rustic look, bout this flag is good. Looks nice against the bricks of our house, not too conspicuous, and the dark red goes well with it, even though it is not the usual "flag red". Easy to hang, not too heavy, but sturdy enough not to blow around in a windy storm. Price is fair, but the postage does prevent it from being a very good value. Arrived earlier than expected, before Flag Day, was packed very well, but not difficult to open, and not a lot of packing material to haul to recycling center.

This product is definitely "home-made" with love!!! Yes, the "red" is not really a "burgandy" color, but with the blue and white, it still shows up well and the overall product is well constructed. I like the fact that this flag is true to the official size. I like that the stars are well painted, no frayed edged, but they are crisp and sharp. Love this American flag, represents our country well!

Love this! Very nicely made and looks great on the wall. As other reviewers have noted the colors are darker and more muted than a typical American flag - the red is more of a maroon and the blue is a grayish navy. But that is to be expected for stained wood. The shape is also longer than what you would expect, but it still looks nice (and as the seller notes, it is built to the "official" dimensions). Overall great purchase.

I really love this wooden USA flag and it is definitely well made. I can’t tell you exactly what kind of wood was used, but it’s well made for the price and quality. I do see what some people are pointing out about a darker red being used, almost a brown-red, but it makes this unique and it’s still beautiful. Easy to hang on the wall, I used a wall hanger and it took all of 2 minutes to do.

Love this wooden flag. I will give this aclear, protective coating and hang it outside, above the garage doors. It is just the right size and just what I wanted.
