Very flexible, soft and high quality.
Very soft and bendable cable. I use this with my Stratocaster and Fender twin reverb. This is without a doubt a high quality cord, I am not getting any noise due to the cable.I tried cheaper cables and they do not compare. This Fender one is very difficult to tangle or get caught up. You have to try very hard to do that. It is light and you won’t feel it when you have it plugged into your guitar.Plugs are gold plated it seems like. I am very happy with this.

Quality Cable
When I upgraded to a Fender American Strat and a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amp, I felt that I should have a quality cable to go with. This cable feels extremely well made. It feels heavy and does a good job of preventing kinks and twists. The connectors are well made and seem like they will last, and the cable sounds great. I like the 90° end for going into the vertical plug on the amp so there's less stress on the jack. Feels like a quality product that will last for a long time. Recommended! 🤘

Great bang for the buck!
*UPDATE* I had some reservations about buying a 25 foot cable because of signal deterioration, but I needed one that long because of room restrictions. I have a Seymour Duncan pickup booster, so I knew I could always use that if need be. I'm happy to say that there is little to no signal loss with this cable, so I can use my pickup booster to boost my single coils. This cable performs as good or better than any other cable I've ever bought, and I've bought just about all the top name cables. 11/30/2014Fender Instrument Cables have always been my preferred choice primarily because there is no signal loss. Top quality tweed cable that look great, is easy to coil and doesn't kink up while being used. If there's one thing I hate it's wasting time fighting with cables.

Better than I expected
I knew this would be a good patch cord, but it's exceeded my expectations so far. It's very thick! I've had a couple of nice cables over the years, and this one feels the sturdiest yet. I love the vintage tweed look - it goes great with my setup. The connections are secure. It's as quiet as I hoped it would be. My only regret is that I should have bought the longer one (mine is 18.6 ft). Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Quality meets or exceeds my expectation for price point.
Nice cable, well built. Sort of likes to coil a turn or two near your feet due to gage stiffness, but for quality of build I can put up with it, guess I was too used to using really cheap flimsy cables before. No popping due to connector movement at contact point gold finish for maximum contact. I’m happy with the choice.

Flimsy
Sounds fine but I seriously doubt it would last long the silly way it is constructed: there is a lot of movement inside the rigid collar that would eventually break the solder. For comparison, pig hog cables are better built.

Shorting out
purch September 21, 2015.. have started noticing it shorting out, causing hums and static. It has been generally handled gently, but its possible it may have gotten stepped on or mis-used while I wasnt looking. Cant be sure. Purch a GLS cord on same date with this, still using with no problems.. but it was a straight male plug on both ends. the Fender brand was a right angle on one end. The Fender package says "lifetime" so now I will go hunt the link to report it to them.

Good solid cord for a working player.
Just like all players, I've had cord failures. There's no point in buying the cheapest products because eventually they will die, and it's always going happen on stage. Fender is a reliable brand. These cords are well made.

Prestine audio
I had been using the guitar cable that came in the box with my guitar. As a beginner, I figured it was good enough. But when I saw these cables and the price looked reasonable I thought I'd give it a go. What a difference it has made. The cheap bundled cable, it turns out, was little more than a RF antenna. Now, there is no noticeable noise, just the sound on my guitar. The shielding is so good. Also, these cables look and feel great. The connectors are gold plated, and though they look plastic, the upper part of the connectors are also metal. It feels very robust. If you have been using the cheap cable that came with your guitar, and you are thinking about going for something a little better, I recommend you do it. My playing is still sub par, but the guitar sounds better.

Split sleeve
This is the second lead I've had and both have had the same problem: the flexible rubber cover on the plug seems to perish and split within a few months of purchase. Full marks to Amazon who refunded and paid the postage for the lead I bought from them, but I had to pay postage on the lead I returned to Rich Tone Music, which came from Amazon Market place. Neither offered to exchange the lead which was strange because it is advertised with a lifetime guarantee. The lead did work well and I had no issues with it other than the rubber sleeve. I've now purchased a Planet Waves lead which seems much better made, although twice the price. Needless to say, I've bought it from Amazon, not market place, just in case there is a problem.

faulty.
bought this to fit into my Marshall amp. it looks good, fits, and is sturdy to the touch, but the sound is absolutely awful: constant buzzing, barely any sound from the guitar and loud noises if the wire is turned even slightly. i have never had this problem before so i assume it’s the wire. extremely disappointed as this wire seemed the right choice when shopping.

Great Cable
Strong cable and well protected. I have had a Fender cable with similar claims before (about 15 years ago) and it ended up being almost impossible to unwind as it had a very hard plastic finish. It also kinked very easily and wanted to hold its coiled shape all the time. This tweed effect is really nice and it doesn't kink or hold its shape. It doesn't appear to colour tone (good range of bass through treble). Fit into the jacks is good and there doesn't appear to be any noise which is great.Overall very happy and would buy again. I'd also be tempted by longer lengths since it doesn't show signs of kinking.

Really Well Known Brand Makes Really Good Lead
As a man who is going to trust pretty much anything fender put their name to (call me naive) I bought this lead. Up until buying it, I'd generally buy cheap leads and expect a few months of life. Now having owned this, I don't know what I was thinking! YEARS OF WASTED TRIPS TO THE GUITAR SHOP! (the trips were wasted, I was quite sober) The lead has already paid for itself several times over, so whilst it may be a few pennies more than some, its well worth it.In terms of looks, It's very sharp. I love the black tweed, very retro but not too over the top. If black isn't your thing, it also comes in a more traditional tweed, yellowy type colour. On top of that it also comes in any length you could want, right down to a patch cable if you want all your gear to match which is good for the guitarist who likes consistency I guess.Performance wise I have been playing with this a good few months now and have had no problems with buzz or connection damage of any nature. The lead does is is told and so far hasn't started trying and curl back into a familiar shape, despite me always packing it away after use. It also has enough weight to it that it will stay where you leave it on stage, without being heavy.I personally love a right angled jack though you can get both straight should you prefer. On the whole this is a top quality item at a very reasonable price.I have heard some talk of a lifetime guarantee, I have not needed to look into this myself. Though as previously stated, for me, its already paid for itself. If it broke tomorrow, I would have had my moneys worth.
