Some of the advice in this book is helpful and I think the general approach of being more proactive and taking responsibility for your own success if a good one. However; from a female perspective lots of the things being suggested are actually very offputting when men do them - for example, resending messages and nudges when they haven’t received a reply. The general tone of the messages he advises sending is also very pushy and presumptuous. I’m sure you can say that if the overall approach works then the ends justifies the means, but I would certainly be put off dating a guy who came across as pressuring and harassing which in my view some of the suggestions border on.

Love this book. It's a great find for people who haven't had the confidence to try online dating yet. Equally, those who hve dabbled for a while without success or feel positively jaded by the whole business ... this book is for you. I like the way the author addresses dating issues from all angles, including the safety element. It's a well written, insightful glimpse into the nerve-wracking world of dating. This book has been instrumental for me in understanding the complexities of the online dating world. It is well written through being factual, informative, funny with a spice to really push ones confidence levels in meeting that right person. I even have my mother reading it so she can further explain the dating tips highlighted in the book and help me find the right partner. I've strongly recommended this book to my friends. It's like a road map to datingand if you don't have it you're going to get very very lost!It's extremely funny in places and I found the chapter on dating scams to be especially interesting.I've already recommended this to a friend!
