Great Purchase
This is a great mailbox. It’s built very sturdy and we mounted with the optional pole. It looks very stylish and goes great with that bit of modern flair we were going for.

Love this mailbox with only 1 small negative...
This mailbox is beautiful! It was perfect for what we wanted: a midcentury modern feel. The only slight negative is there was a small ding/bend on the backside/top of the mailbox - probably from shipping but not sure. Regardless, it isn't really that noticiable and I was able to slightly fix it with pliers. We decided not to return since it was coming from Japan and our contractor needed to get it installed so we didn't have the time to get another one - no big deal. We love it!!!

Cool looking - UPDATED REVIEW
I bought this for my new house that I'm building. I haven't had it installed yet but it arrived quicker than estimated and is very sturdy! Looks so cool! Please be aware that this does not have an OUTGOING mail feature. Although you can stick your outgoing mail out of the mail slot, it is exposed to the weather. Therefore, if it's raining, you cannot send any mail out from this mailbox unless you want your outgoing mail to be soaked.UPDATE: DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM...it has rusted and become discolored in less than a year after being installed!

A quality mailbox
Well built. Heavy. The rear-access drawer slides out on ball bearing sliders for smooth action. A magnet is used to keep the drawer closed. The mounting holes line up dead-center perfectly with the holes on the mailbox post for easy mounting.

Extremely well made
We love this mailbox! It is extremely well built. The craftsmanship is amazing. The drawer slides surprisingly smoothly. Would definitely recommend.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
This mailbox rusted in one year. THE TITLE SAYS RUSTPROOF, IT IS A LIE, DON'T BUY IT. It is so rusted that I can't open the drawer to get my mail. The inside box drawer is what is rusted. The top of the box is warped with the sun and rain.
