Well made and beautiful
The feeder is beautiful and ready to hang out of the box. However, I would follow the seller's recommendation and treat the wood with a preservative to extend the life of the wood. I applied to coats of boiled linseed oil. It protects and deepens the color of the wood. It looks great.So far, so good on the build quality. The squirrels, four of them, are using it daily and it is holding up well.It only took them a day to figure out how to get inside it.

The media could not be loaded. Please note, I have added a slightly larger piece of wood to the platform, it wasn't that necessary, but thought a bigger platform would be better for squirrels. The squirrels absolutely love this. I wondered if they'd understand how to lift the lid, but within hours, we had our first squirrel work it out. They come multiple times per day. I enjoy watching them, as do my indoor cats. The only issue that I have it it's not easy to get stale food out of the bottom of the box. Other that, it's well built and highly effective for the squirrels to use. The food gets a little damp, during heavy rain. But I'm happy with it. Squirrels give their paws up.

Brilliant feeder
The media could not be loaded. Delivered and up within an hour and Mr Squirrel appeared an hour later and sussed out how to use straight away, clever chappy.Solid item well made two filled holes to fix but no screws. Instructions in German but didn’t need them as straight forward. Hopefully it will last and I can have a happy squirrel in the garden.

Lightweight feeder
The media could not be loaded. Was happy till I opened lid . Squeaky, loose and not screwed in properly hinge. OK, this is something I can replace myself but disappointed at this not finished properly for price.

Squirrel Feeders

Good but only if your squirrels use it.
Nice looking and well made box but at the moment the two squirrels that come into our garden use it as a stepping stone to get into a tree to feed out of the bird feeder. The pigeons that normally hang around under the bird feeders now have learned how to open the flap on the box and enjoy the peanuts so it does get used but not at the moment by the squirrels,
