This book is a miracle!
My 3-year old son had zero interest in dressing himself before this book.He was once really mad at me that I took off his pajamas and he put them back on by himself, so I knew that he could, but whenever I would try to encourage him to do it he would say “I can’t”. I got this book and now he insists on doing the exact morning routine in the book every day (yea, teeth brushing, too!) and is starting to express interest in dressing himself after only two weeks of reading this book.

Jackson, Tommy, Bree, Jade, & Parker were already outside playing & having fun.Oliver was still dressed in his pajamas. His mother addressed that issue with him.Would Oliver & Pierre (French Bulldog) get to go out & play with their friends?I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.A very awesome book cover, great hand drawn colored pictures, & proper font & writing style. A very well written children’s (age 3-7) educational story (rhyme) book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational movie, an animated cartoon, a classroom PP presentation, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.Thank you for the free author (s); BookSends; Amazon Digital Services LLC.; bookTony Parsons MSW (Washburn)

Cute story and Great Illustrations!
We got this for our soon-to-be 3 year old granddaughter and she was enraptured! We had to read it over and over and over! The illustrations are great for finding things (lost socks and shoes) and the rhythmic text is adorable. She was soon finishing the sentences for us!

We giggled all the way through
Every parents knows the challenges getting dressed presents. My little one and I giggled all the way through this book as Oliver West's mother tries to get him dressed. We also enjoyed the antics of his dog, the illustrator captured both Oliver and his pup perfectly!

The best way to encourage kids to get dressed by themselves.
I recommend this book to anyone who has a kid ages 1 to 6 years. The book encourages kids (little tots) to try and dress themselves. It's so cute how Oliver struggles before he finally gets it. The mother always there to encourage him when he feels as though it's hopeless. It is really a great book to read with kids ages 1 to 6 years old.

Such a wonderful read!
My toddler that is coming up on 2 years old was so consumed by this book. The pictures tell a wonderful story all on their own. We definitely loved the little Frenchie, we own one as well. Mostly, I loved the story that is told, and showing a child learn their independence is the what every parent works hard at accomplishing!

Cute and fun story
Story is cute and shows how kids need to do some things, even if they don’t like them, before they can go do something they want to do (get dressed to go play). It’s wonderfully illustrated and easy to read. I like how the parent encourages Oliver to put on his clothes, instead of making him do it.

Great Book!
I bought this for my 3 year old nephew. Mom said it was spot on for how her son doesn’t want to get dressed unless there’s something outside worth getting dressed for. This is a really cute story, and great way to encourage dressing.

Great to encourage children to dress themselves
Oliver West! It's Time to Get Dressed! is a great book about a boy called Oliver who wants to go out and play with his friends but doesn't want to get dressed.I think this is a really lovely idea for a story and is perfect to encourage children to try and get dressed by themselves just as Oliver's mother does. It's great for the children to see each aspect of Oliver getting changed as it makes it look more simple and easy for them to achieve.Oliver is a great character as he is much like the children when they are reluctant to get dressed. It is nice to see his attitude change as the book goes on from his reluctance to pride as he achieves his goal by himself and gets his reward of going out to play. The illustrations are really fun to look at with a nice cartoon style look to them. I think it's great how we get to see every stage of Oliver getting dressed and particularly liked the arrows to demonstrate to the children which way to pull, its details like this that really make a book stand out.We really enjoyed this book and it I should perfect for any children like Oliver that show reluctance to get dressed, maybe they'll find a goal to work towards like Oliver if they succeed!

Nice story
This book is really lovely! I know I shouldn't say that but my kids (not toddlers any more) still like to get help when dressing up, oops :-) I know we have to make our little ones more independent and Mum and Dad's life gets a bit easier. So read this book to your young ones and you won't struggle like me every morning when they're bigger ah ah ah

Lovely book helping children with getting dressed
If you are a parent, you probably know those mornings where children don't want to get dressed at all. This story is brilliant to help them getting dressed in a nice and creative way. Loved the illustrations.
