I searched for a replacement of my Joseph Joseph turner, and this came up near the top of the search results. I thought it was an authentic Joseph Joseph product and ordered it. It is a knock off of much poorer quality. The handle has bumps on it (bad mold or manufacturing), and the seam between where the handle (the green part in the picture) meets the rest of the turner has a gap and looks like the two parts will break in the near future. I realized that it is not a Joseph Joseph because I noticed that it does not have the JJ brand on the handle like my other JJ products.Update 6/6/16: A major flaw is the balance of the turner. If you lay it on the counter freshly cleaned (no food on the flat end), and barely put a feather on the end, it will tip forward, negating the fact that it is elevated. I experienced this when using it for the first time cooking thin tomato sauce. After stirring the sauce and shaking nearly all of the sauce off of the turner, when I lay it on the counter, it tipped forward immediately. So I tested it after cooking and then cleaning it thoroughly by laying it on the counter and barely touch the flat end--it tips forward with barely a touch on it.

This is a great turner. If you are tired of leaving grease on your stovetop when you lay down your turner, this guy solves your problem. It's just the right size and actually works to turn fried eggs. what more can one want?

I bought this spatula for use in my griddle. The design is very nice and thoughtful. It looks sturdy and good to hold. the design has a vertical protruding piece in the middle and that stays perfectly in the edge of the griddle when using it.However, recently I started having problems with the same. The description says it is heat resistant and cannot melt. But it did the opposite for me. It has sort of melted and giving spots on the side when i used it in my griddle for a few days. Initially it was very good and I loved it. However, after sometime, it started showing some signs of beginning to melt. Now I have completely stopped using it.

Initially I loved this. Love how it sits on the counter without the part that touches the food touching the counter. Great design, great idea. However, after several months of use and washing, I give this 2 stars. This spatula would be amazing if it was one piece molded plastic. However, it is actually two pieces that are put together. The colored part of the handle is attached to the flipper part. I wash this by hand, don't put it in the dishwasher. Unfortunately, water collects inside the "seam" where the two pieces of plastic come together. It's not easy to get the water out, you don't even know it's in there until you have "dried" the spatula, put it away, and you "find" the water the next time you use it. So many times water that has collected has dripped into my skillet, or pan of cookies/brownies/whatever it is I've made. I really wanted to love this, but I will be going back to my single piece molded plastic spatula and continue resting it on a plate. If this company changes the design and makes this out of one piece of plastic, I would definitely buy it again.

It's ok. Looks nice, handle is strong and easy to use, but the end of spatula is fraying after moderate use. My other utensils are holding up much better than this spatula.

Love this product. Only 2 issues (very minor): 1. It does burn if left against the pan..oops my fault. 2. the holes can collect food and if not washed immediately may be difficult to get out. Like I said...minor. Otherwise, great product!Update - The spatula was amazing, but i had 2 issues: 1. the spatula started to come off of the handle (separate). 2. the flat spatula curved a little as it has been heated....I still use it, but wanted you to be aware.

Great item and the stand is a real bonus. I was looking for a sturdy turner that wouldn't peel on the edge from heat like so many other ones I have had. Only downside is that you really have to watch the handle. Don't lean it against the edge of the pan even for a minute when you are cooking! It is made of a softer material than the rest of the spatula and it will melt. I melted a line on the handle when I left it for not even for a minute. Lesson learned.

I bought the blue one, loved it, so decided to buy another. Got the green one this time. While the products look the same, the green one is clearly not the same product. They look the same, sold by the same seller (ToxicFree), but after one use the green one was bowed and melted. Been using the blue one for 6 months, no issues. Buy the blue one.
