Pure coffee worth giving a try once
Edit 1: I'm not deleting the original review. This is my repeat purchase. This time the coffee powder was fine ground and the aroma and flavour were both off. Disappointed! Please be consistent with your quality and standards to retain your customers. I'm shifting brand now, I'm very particular about my coffee.--------------------------------Out of many things that I buy on Amazon, this one deserves a special mention and hence this review. I was desperately searching for a blend of Arabica and Robusta coffee powder, please note without added chicory. Most other filter coffee powder in this range have at least 20% chicory added. So firstly, this is pure coffee powder with nothing mixed in it. Mix of Arabica and Robusta - so you have aroma, flavour, strength, all in one package. The packing is brilliant - cut open the top seal and it's like a resealable ziplock that's airtight, which preserves the freshness. The coffee powder is ground slightly coarse and not very fine, which is absolutely perfect for whichever brew method you prefer - so far I've tried the south indian filter, moka pot, french press, and all have yielded very good results. I use a brew ratio of 1:12 for slightly more strength, and I've always got great results. I've also cold brewed this coffee and tastes even better - especially when you have it as cold coffee. There are coffee that have slightly better flavour, strength, aroma, but then they are premium coffee that cost a lot more. I took a chance with this coffee because I ran out of coffee beans and I wanted to try arabica+robusta powder this time - and I'm not disappointed. You should certainly give this one a try! Here are my ratings: Flavour: 4.5/5 Aroma: 4/5 Strength: 4/5 Value for Money: 5/5 Packaging: 5/5 Overall: 4.5/5Estate Monkeys: I hope this is not the introductory price, which will be increased later. This one's too good for its price. Thumbs up to you guys!

An ok buy
A little too fine-grained for my liking as i use a drip coffee machine, so clogs up the filter pores quickly. I prefer stronger flavour and darker roast, so I had to use quite a lot of coffee to get the body I wanted, which caused the packet to finish early. It's decent for people who like light, mellow coffee.

Honestly good every day coffee - strong and aromatic
The sachet arrived a few hours ago. We usually let all packages rest for a day at least due to Covid concerns. But the coffee powder I had in stock for the last 4 months was pretty bad. So I left caution to the winds and fired up the good old DeLonghi coffee maker.Good coffee usually doesn't need to be tasted. It's signature aroma draws you to it when it is brewing. There was a fleeting hint of the aroma.... sufficient to awaken the Missus having her siesta in the bedroom 10 metres away behind closed doors. No sooner had I greedily glugged my mug, my sleepy wife poked her head into the kitchen saying 'I smell coffee'. No better way to wake from a siesta on a rainy afternoon, na?The taste is honest, not ecsquisite. Strong without bitter aftertaste and a hint of nuttiness. For the price, I am going to reorder for sure. The coffee powder pedlars near my place are getting very inconsistent with quality. My only suggestion to the seller is that I wish they would make a slightly coarser grind because my coffee machine complains when the powder is this fine. That and a little more aroma and I will happily give 5 Stars!

Rather good
From whatever I know of roasts, this is a medium dark roast, and to me, it brings out the flavour of coffee and at the same time, the strength. to those who think this can be used directly in milk or milk+water, sorry. you have to make a decoction with it. it's a joke how many buy filter coffee and use it like an instant. anyway, some people had reviewed this coffee as not up to the mark or bad. i really wonder if the batch they got was bad. but this coffee is very good for its price. of course, you get better coffee for higher prices but if you expect that coffee at this price then you're literally living in an imaginary world. i bought a pack of 3 first and each pack was very consistent in terms of grind and roast. yes, yes, i know that consistency can't go off in one order. now, i have ordered 12 packs and will see how it goes. but honestly, i really love the name and the packaging. pretty cool. and the flavour, so far, is pretty good. the grind size though is fine and doesn't work well in a french press and not even an aeropress with a steel filter. only with a paper filter, it is good and doesn't result in a fine residue. otherwise, this is best for a south indian filter. Here's an update on the roast: this batch is darker and not as tasty as the first one. Mind you, it is fine for an aeropress or a South indian filter but not for a stove top moka pot as it gets a little more cooked in the process and the darker roast gets darker in the cooking process and loses its coffeeness.
