My 12 year old daughter ordered this as a holiday gift for a friend. If your child is Demi-God crazy, this is great. It came with a neck cord as well as a separate clip. This would suit both boys and girls. It will not give them super powers to clean their rooms.

Neat charm!
Such a neat combination for book lovers! The necklace clasp worked... I read a lot of negative reviews saying it broke right away... mine didn't. The clasp itself seemed cheap but the charm was perfect and really nice. I actually turned it into a bookmark.

My daughter loved it. The only thing I wasn't happy with was how quickly the first layer of color came off the necklace. Otherwise, it was a good purchase as she can still use it on her key chain or back pack zipper.

I bought this for my 12 year old daughter, who in her words is a "fan girl warrior"! She loves it and all her friends at school were like "Where did you get that?" She is one happy tween and that does not happen often. It is well made, but most importantly she loves it!
