Got these for making snacks to take to school for my son who was starting kindergarten. The quality was significantly better than I had originally expected. He is in 1st grade now and I also now have a daughter in kindergarten using these as well. We are about 1/3 of the way through the school year and I am finally buying a new set as the corner tab of the lids have broke off on a few, as have the the lip of the container itself on one or two. But this is after literal daily use by 2 rough and tumble little ones & subsequent runs through the dishwasher. I’d definitely consider that to be well beyond “normal wear and tear” and am beyond happy with the product.

What can I say other than these containers are amazing! The plastic is sturdy and the lids snap tight. I use them to pack my son's (9) lunch. He loves the variety of food items we can put in them to keep lunch from getting boring. I put them in the dishwasher (top rack) and have had no problems with them warping or cracking. Definitely glad I found these.Edited 1/25/21: the lids will crack if they are cold so be careful with ice packs in lunch. I wish I could buy just the lids because I have all of the containers and only 3 lids left.

These are perfect for my kiddo! He keeps asking for lunchables, but I am not crazy about those nutrition facts. These have the look and feel of lunchable for him and let me still choose the right combo of macro nutrients/quality of food for him.The container actually fully divides the compartments. Each section of the lid goes into each section of the container. Truly separating each 1/4th. However, they are NOT leak-proof for liquids. So if you are looking to use one compartment for a liquid, you will need to be careful about handling.And of course there is the whole reduce/reuse/recycle element that is certainly an ethical bonus.

I was buying $5 snack packs at Sprouts and figured if I can find 4-compartment containers then I can make my own. These were the only ones I could find and I am glad there wasn’t an overwhelming number of choices. These are sturdy and substantial; the wells are roughly a half cup in volume so they hold lots of food, and the price and colors are just right. I can fit eggs, chicken salad, baby carrots and broccoli,nuts, and a hummus or ranch dip and have a full meal or snack to have on the go. I also use them for fruit and cheese snacks. Great for healthy meal/snack prep, and portion control and tracking. They are also microwave and dishwasher safe. I have not tried the microwave because I like easy, cold foods. These containers have already paid for themselves in the way of simple to-go meals. Make sure the lid snaps all the way around when closing.

So far in love with these. They are perfect and also stack great when not in use. Will definitely be ordering another set.

Works great for daycare! Making bento box for 2 year old and it works great!! 1 had a crack when it arrived on the bottom part of the handle and after use the 1 lid cracked on the handle area. I don't see these lasting very long but I'm only using 2 at a time to rotate them and get longer use, hopefully!

For my purposes, these boxes work well. I have had these containers for one month and they are very sturdy and each compartment holds quite a bit. The lids are solid and stay put...so much so, that they are difficult to remove and one lid has broken...as other reviewers have said.I no longer have the box they came in, so am unable to return. Due to the lid issue, I would not purchase again.

Finally found the perfect containers for lunch/meal prep! The size is perfect and the colored lids are festive and functional for organizing meals. They nest perfectly for storage when not in use, too. Bought the 3 compartment (1 large 2 side) version as well and love those, too. After other attempts at lunch prep, I've finally been using these containers. Combined with the Damn Delicious Meal Prep cookbook, for the first time, making/taking lunch to work is no longer stressful. It's so nice plan ahead and feel great about having healthy food to eat each day and thanks to these great containers, it's all ready to go for the week.

I was afraid from the pictures that these would be cheap plastic, but they are very sturdy and really nice. Excellent value for the price.

Das Material wirkt so sehr stabil weil es doch starrer ist als ich es erwartet habe. Beim Deckel abnehmen habe ich, obwohl es sehr stabil wirkt, oft das Gefühl das ich den Deckel gleich kaputt mache, weil er sehr fest sitzt. Mein 3 jähriger Sohn schafft es eher selten den Deckel ohne Hilfe zu entfernen. Dennoch finde ich sie gut. Bisher keine Einbußen gewesen. Schon mehrmals in der Spülmaschine gehabt, bleibt Formstabil.

Update. Issue was rectified! Note-wash in hot tap water to sort of soften the lids so they aren't as rigid and break. Love the colours and perfect for school lunches!Snapped the lid first time use. Not flixible enough
