Enjoy reading and reliving the 60's
Great book revisiting the early 60's reviews of the Beatles albums. Interesting introspective and love the graphics.Read a chapter then play the album along with the singles if you have them.

Promised more than it delivered...
There is nothing new here. It is just a collection of past reviews and comments from various personalities. There is nothing really new.I was hoping for more... it could be interesting for someone who knew nothing about the Beatles and wanted some perspective.

"Album by Album" misses a major LP. How could they?
Although the book looks grand, with beautiful photographs and expensive binding, "Album By Album" adds nothing much to the already saturated market of Beatles books. Each album is profiled, with commentary by scribes, musicians, critics, and Beatles experts, but the glaring error of this book is the total omission of "Magical Mystery Tour," a key album in their oeuvre and the source of many of their enduring hits, such as "I Am the Walrus," "With a Little Help From My Friends," "Fool On the Hill," and "Blue Jay Way." This unforgivable mistake warrants the entire project disposable. The publisher and editor should be drawn and quartered.

Not worth it.
Too many large pictures. I know that we've all seen the LP sleeves a million times but there are no sleeve pics front or back. I thought it would be a track by track review but it's just people's opinions on each album. Magical Mystery tour is not covered as the author classes it as an American album. You get a big discount with Amazon but it is certainly not worth the cover price of £30.

More of a coffee table book, rather lightweight in content.
I would be rather upset if I`d paid full price. As usual it`s top price if it has the word Beatles on it,

Beatle Book Album Review
This is a magnificent book. More than just professionally compiled, it has been well written and has accompanying photos of the lads as they progressed through their career. It is of course a book about each album the Beatles made from 1963 to 1970 and is very informative and instructive, a must for every Beatle fan.

Good
Great book - could have been much better not all of contributors wrote reviews of all of the albums sadly.
