Mokaccino Milk Chocolate 2 Ounces (Case of 12)

Delicious chocolate! Very rich coffee flavor. Almost smoky in taste. Have never had anything else like it. Amazing!

As milk chocolate it’s obviously going to be a little on the sweeter side, especially if you normally eat dark chocolate. But the coffee (from the excellent Blue Bottle) is quite strong and balances well with the sugar. It’s basically like a great mocha in bar form. Super rich and creamy, it’s definitely the best coffee-flavored milk chocolate bar I’ve ever tasted. Like the Tcho’s Classic milk chocolate bar it’s made with a blend of beans from Peru and Ecuador. Both are world class.Besides the 5/5 gold stars, I’m giving Tcho 4/5 green stars for social and environmental impact. It’s organic (including the milk) and Fair Trade certified. The cardboard packaging is recyclable and the inner paper wrap is compostable. Tcho works with organizations like the World Cocoa Foundation in cacao-producing countries like Ghana to help farmers to generate a high-value cacao product (rather than commodity cacao). The reason I’m giving them 4/5 rather than 5/5 green stars is that some other chocolate makers (such as Alter Eco or Equal Exchange) are going further by using green energy or planting trees to offset emissions, and also using recycled or sustainable paper for packaging and vegetable inks for printing. With these modifications I think Tcho would fully deserve a perfect score.

Got this not from Amazon but individually from Whole Foods. Best chocolate I ever had, since I love mocha and coffee - very smooth and great coffee taste. Current price I saw was no better than getting 12 from Whole Foods so I passed, if you really want to buy alot check Tcho's website directly to see if they have special deals (last time I saw was free shipping for $150 or something, way too many for me but maybe good to gift several people).
