Not what I had hoped for.
Wasn't as entertaining or informational as I had hoped. Short read and for whatever reason I wasn't really inspired to finish.

The #1 Authority On The Moustache!
A splendid Read! Both entertaining and highly informative! Being a lover of and writer of all things facial fur myself you can imagine how very excited I was when I was given this book over the holidays, so excited I made the mistake of lending it out and have yet to get it back! So I bought another copy if that tells you anything! Thanks Alan for putting it all together!-E. Douglas Smythe[...]

Thanks :)
Thanks to the author and men who love their mustache. Reading this book is more than fun and easy to get, I get to know more about history and men's philosophy through this sophisticated facial hair. This book help me to present my exhibition project "mustache and identity", thanks again! :)

A Fun and Entertaining Read.
An easy and factual read on 'Staches. Who'da thought there had been both mandatory facial hair and facial hair prejudice across cultures and over the centuries? A very enjoyable read indeed!

INTERESTING BOOK
Very interesting book on moustaches. It really explains in detail the history about moustache and who have worn it throughout the years. Very famous moustaches we have heard of!

Mr. Peterkin can do better...
I read Mr. Peterkin's previous book about facial hair "One thousand beards" and enjoyed it enormously. Since I wear a moustache and have for many years, I was very excited to learn about this new book and bought it without giving it a second thought. I was very disappointed, though, to find that this book is not nearly as good as the previous one. It is not bad, and I am sure some will like it, but I liked his previous one much more. It gave me the impression that the author just wanted to jump into the "Movember" bandwagon and quickly and thoughtlessly "wrote" this book. I'm not impressed. When I read "One thousand beards", I just borrowed it from the library. Now my regret is that I should have borrowed the moustaches one and bought the beards one.
