This book has detailed written instruction and is very well illustrated. Tangles are such a fun way to ignore the world for a while! ❤️

I get inspired just looking at this book. Cool ideas. I just wish there was more free time to dedicated to doing art.

Love the designs. Only complaint, not a complaint really, but more so a wish: I wish that all of the designs were show how they completed them. There were some cool designs that I wish they showed how they started the pattern. I LOVE Zentangling! Don't hesitate...you LOVE this book and you will be inspired!

I love this book. Brings back memories of receiving coloring books that had repeat patterns to color. Now we can make our own books. I am loving these easy to do patterns. Looks intimidating but it is easy to follow. Before you know it, you will be a pro! Also, It has a relaxing effect. Give it a try. So many patterns so little time....lol. It takes about 15 to 20 min to do. Take your time and you will find the "zone".

The tangles will come out beautifully!

I’m bummed. I’ve not used it yet because I’m a little intimidated and don’t know where to start (I am NOT naturally good at drawing or with my hands—if you are and/or have some art training, you’ll find it useful probably). There are, in places, pics/drawing of “stages” (you could call these “steps,” but I don’t here because there are times it’s not at all obvious to me how one “stage” of the drawing/shape led to/became the next one shown—like, at all!). Just the smallest bit of text explaining: “now shade the circles,” “now add some of the shapes/use the techniques shown on page 26…” etc… I mean, this book could so easily be an excellent teaching tool if only they’d found a writer/editor to write some instructions! Not to mention that I’d like to be told which art tools/mediums were used to achieve certain effects ! In reality, I willLikely give this away or maybe cutIt up to make collages… idk…. Maybe I’ll buy a more instructive book and return to this one—but who has the time or money?! I waded through a lot before I landed on this one—tooBad it was the wrong choice

My wife recently got into zentangles, and I purchased this and another book for her. She loves both of them. They provide lots of inspiration.

I was sitting in on an arts/crafts class at a local hospital, and one of the teachers had this book. Instead of drawing, I was totally immersed in this book. I have to admit, it is one of the best zentangle books for beginners I've seen. Well, I had to get a copy for my library. One of the things that makes this book great is that the patterns include a description under each step of the pattern. Most books don't include an explanation of each step. While more experienced tanglers might think this is unnecessary, this is a huge help for those who have never tangled (or drawn) before. The book also includes various ways to create zentangle inspired art. I totally recommend this book, especially for beginners.

C'est un livre zentlangle très sympa, les motifs et comment les faire est simple. Les motifs sont superbes. Très bon choix

Very simple and a good starter book

No lo he utilizado mucho,pero hace su función. Es fácil y si tienes paciencia y te gusta un poco dibujar, es muy bueno pata tener la mente entretenida.
