I've finished reading a lot of your books, back to back, the only way I like reading series. I'm not a patient person. To be totally honest here, these deep, dark stories are not my cup of tea. Too much pain for my old heart. That being said, I couldn't put them down. I was hooked!!!!! Really hard story lines, very well written. Awesome characters, twists I did not see coming, and every emotion known to man beautifully covered. There is one book I'd like to read, but Amazon doesn't have it, probably because of its content. You opened my eyes to the possibility I might be able to read heavy stuff once in a while.

This book walk the line between heartbreaking and heartwarming, the pain that these men have experience is evident and the lengths they go to reconcile who they are now as individuals and to each with with who they were done was handled delicately and lovingly. The book was a beautiful journey to embark on with ups and downs, tears and joy and ultimately forgiveness , hope and triumph.

This isn't a love story, but it is a story about love!!This novella gives a necessary summary to the story of Rezno and Syren and it was just perfect

Family is not only blood but who you give that title too. Cause at the end family is all we have at the end of the day.

If you haven't read a book by Avril Ashton then you are crazy. Hands down one of my favorite. This novella is a sweet story about two men finding their way back and healing in the process. True friends...brothers.

What a beautiful story about Renzo's and Syren's road to recovery. I loved how they finally came to the point they could start moving forward. Really hope to read more about them!

This author develops characters that the reader wants to continue to know after the story is over. I am so thankful that she continues to feed me curiosity about what happens to them.

This was another great book. I really enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to reading more books by this author.

This is a good insight into Syren & Renzo’s time in captivity at the hands of the monster that abducted then as children and their fight to keep their sanity, which they only managed because of the love they had fo each other.

Ms Ashton, I salute you, this story was amazing, intense, strong and powerful, a continuation of both of these men’s journey. It dealt with trauma, the aftermath, the recovery and the power of family and heathy diverse relationships. This story was unlike the others but no less depth. I have read all of Ms Ashton’s books, all of them recommended. I fell in love with Syren all over again and saw Renzo in a different way. Please keep the books coming.

This was a gorgeous story. It rounded out the ugliness of their earlier shared experiences, and allowed them to come full circle. Heart warming, heart wrenching and full of love.

It's a beautiful story, I'm so glad Avril make this for us and for Renzo and Syren. Both deserve so much happiness, and they life isn't complete without each other.It's about family and forgiveness, and traumas we do not forget but we do our best to live peacefully.
